  1. Not sure that it would make it to Birmingham
  2. I can keep riding it till 14th of March, then I will SORN it, and still advertise it for sale.
  3. Someone I know pays less for 2 bikes on his multi bike policy.. Still trying to sell the scoot, 3 weeks (almost) in and not 1 single enquiry, do you think that is telling me something?
  4. Oooo that would be good! £165 actually.
  5. Scoot insurance!.....Bennets have doubled the price from last year!..........Bastards!..
  6. The guys came back and fitted the gutter on the rear of the bungalow Their boss not happy with the finish job on side of the bungalow, they did the soffits & facia in 3 sections, he said it should be in 2 sections, so they are back next week to rectify the (bodge ) job........iam glad I ain't paying for all this work.
  7. Happy Anniversary to you both.
  8. Tapping on my shoulder!........more likely hard jab in the ribs, or.....
  9. The guys returned today to complete the fitting of the soffits and facias, new guttering and downpipes all round too, they made a tidy job too, then at 4.50pm he knocked on the door said all "done ", and off they went back to Barnsley. Just been outside to lock the gates and the shed, and........................there is no guttering on the rear of the bungalow.
  10. Sun!...You had sun!... it has been dull and wet here all day....
  11. Bugs were in very short supply in our area last summer, hardly had any bug Splats all summer and autumn.
  12. The exterior of the helmet receives a regular clean with Mr. Sheen i removed the lining of my helmet a couple of times in the summer and stick it in the washer, but it starts to whiff a bit very quickly after washing, the helmet is years old, maybe time for a replacement.
  13. Iam being unfair to my wife, she (because of mobility problems) is a little larger than average, but we see young girls shopping in Asda who are in their early twenties and are much much larger that my wife, at least my wife has a excuse for being a little overweight. She is 71 year old in 1 month, so for her age, and her limited mobility she is doing well campared to other women who live on our road................and she has put up with me since 1977.
  14. My daughter has seen a cheap 8x4 shed on Marketplace, it would be good for her to store her (mine ) tools and son in laws pushbike, the shed is about 20 miles away from here, so she enquired about hiring a small van to collect it when it's disassembled, because panels won't fit in her Pugshite, so, hire a van.....from 9am till 4pm?.... £110 ....... she wants to hire it, not buy it
  15. Not nice here.....again. I would rather have bright and cold not rain and cold, then I could do something outside
  16. Hello & Welcome @DaveHargrave .....

    weekend

Use to see him walking around Rufford Country Park (years ago) occasionally.......he lived very close to the park.
  19. At least you get proper winters and summers, I would not mind a bad (snow & cold) winter if we had a good summer to follow, but we don't get many of those.
  20. The guys have arrived to fit new soffit &, facias, they were supposed to be here on Wednesday, they were going to do our neighbours bungalow today, but they told our neighbour that he needs his (6x4) shed moving for them to be able to do the work, something they are not allowed to do the guy said........our neighbour only has 1 leg and moves around in a wheelchair, fuck knows how he will manage to move the shed.
  21. Snowing a little here.
  22. It was a non productive day today, i managed to tidy the shed, but that is all i did today, then my daughter bought back the stepladders, fork, spade, rake, tree loppers, electric drill, tyre pump and saw, I have to store them out of the way in the shed tomorrow, but where?. I need a bigger shed.
