I tried it at £800 last time on Marketplace, but got no enquiries, I will drop it by £100 and hope for a result....

There is Daelim 250 on Marketplace, similar mileage to mine, same colour too, and in a generally same condition, he wants twice as much as I am going to put mine up for, it should make mine look like a bargain...

Got my new specs, the optician says my vision is fine for my age, a bit of a cataract starting in one eye, but no treatment needed...........yet! Iam now going to take some photos of the scoot for the advert, they will probably look shite, no David Bailey me.

If I a pit, or axle stands I would do the oil & filter change myself, the oil filter is a bugger to get to, have to take wheel off and remove a panel to get to it, so it is easier to let the garage do it...

We have a couple of hours out tomorrow, pick up our new specs. If my wife's vision gets any worse it could be a white stick and a Labrador for her.

I do not hold out much hope, it is a bastid to get parts & spare for, and I think many people know that fact, I will still keep using it (not very often as usual ) I will leave it on Marketplace a few weeks, if nothing happens I will try again next spring, which may be a better time to try and sell

I am going to give the hairdryer () a rub over with a oily rag and put it on Marketplace at the weekend, not holding out much for it to sell at this time of the year, but you never know, someone may be desperate

It is around 17c here, was a nice (for me) riding temperature.... weather is looking reasonable (Friday looks like being wet) mostly...no fear of 32c here

And the Driver CPC course for UK drivers should be ditched too, it cost me £350 for the full course, very little of the course covered my daily driving.

Maybe so, but even doing 52mph I could still overtake Tesco vehicles, they seemed to be the slowest on the motorways

Lorries don't go that fast here (UK) The 7.5 T lorry I drove was limited to 52 mph...

Noooo....I did 250 miles between 2024 and the 2025 MOT My milage till the next MOT may be higher, I did 120 miles to Cadwell Park a couple of weeks ago, I may break the 300 mile barrier over the next year.... ,, but don't hold your breath.. But it's doubtful as iam putting it up for sale (again) next spring.

My scoot travelling at 70mph would not make I think, it would be very close though.....it only has a 2.75 gallon tank. 179 mile ride would be amost 1 years riding for me.

I use to river fish (Trent) with dad in law, i would spend more time asleep on the bank instead of fishing when the weather was good..... after he passed away I could not be bothered to go on my own. I have fished in Majorca while on holiday, caught some good sized Mullet, but we no longer travel abroad so no longer fish at all. I gave all my fishing gear to my son, who almost immediately sold the lot.

Trouble with it is your are paying for many sports that you have no interest in watching......
