  3. Yep.........can't wait for the onboard video.

In the last 10 months I have been getting better at lip reading.......with my hearing aids I can hear sounds, as I may have said before, I can hear clocks ticking, birds singing, and in a quiet environment I can hear voices, but it is distorted.......without my aids, next to nothing. The local hospital were going to arrange a referral for a cochlear implant no no nope.....not having holes drilled in my head at my age........I/we will manage as we are.

  14. Quite possibly.......I suppose if I had great vision the present speedo would be fine, but it's just the right/wrong distance when riding, so would have to wear my reading specs, which are not needed for distance.
  15. I don't have trouble converting km to mph, tachometer/speedo in lorries are in km,s......it's just the km figures are a little small.
  16. I can get a (small) weekly shop under the scoots seat.....

  18. That may be the way I will go, I don't want to be wearing my reading specs while riding.
  19. The only downside of the dash is the speedo, it is in km,s, mph is the small lettering....need my glasses on to read it.

We are away next Monday (in a caravan) till Friday........but after the last caravan adventure (Mablethorpe ) we will take our own kingsize quilt and pillows, as the the pillows provided were as flat as After Eight mints, and the quilt barely covered the bed, And my wife wants her coffee maker taking too....I don't talk to her till she has had her 1st morning coffee.
  21. I managed to remove the Martini racing stickers today, even with my daughter hairdryer warming the adhesive up they kept flaking into small pieces, but managed to do it without marking the paintwork.
  22. When our kids were little, we had a huge 3 bedroom frame tent, had some good hols in that, but then we had a holiday in a B&B and tenting did not seem so much fun after that.
