It certainly limits a person's lifestyle..... Wife's condition makes my glass back seem like a minor irritant.

Genetics?, wife's mother had the same condition, and the wife's sister too, but she has it to a lesser extent......at the moment.

It was a bugger taking the wheelchair on holidays to Majorca, security at East Midlands airport seemed to have a suspicion that the wheelchair frame was full of contraband, take the armrests off, remove the wheels, ffs Worse at Palma, Juan dropped the wheelchair from the loading hatch onto the tarmac, bent wheel, and broken armrest, bastids.

Osteoarthritis, knees, hips and in her feet....she had her knees replaced, but loathed to have her hips done, she s fine ish on short distance, any further and out comes the wheelchair..

We live in a OAP bungalow. In theory we (7 years ago) didn't qualify for a bungalow being only 60 at the time, but wife's condition was so bad they made and exception.........no noisy neighbours here, but some damn nosey ones.

Granby Motorcycles in Ilkeston were the biggest grey importers around here, my VFR was from them, it was a French import, speedo in kms, headlight dipped the wrong way. I did buy a scoot from them years ago, must admit they were very helpful in the purchase. Not much competition for them around here.

From their posts on FB, it seems they are doing reasonable trade, saying they have 30/40 new (pre owned)bikes in stock. But that could be them fiddling the figures as they have several shops.

Yeh I had a ride there, being as the weather was not too bad, CMC was packed...... It was like getting through a football crowd in the store, I gave up,. And the queue for the cafe was long, so I left and had a steady ride home.
