It's a bargain at that price, you would struggle to find a 2002 T Max at that price.
The X Max will do over 90mph.. perfectly able to do long distances.
All TMax,s from it introduction had full length motorcycle forks.....rigid mounted engine, underslung monoshock rear suspension......take all the plastics off ( which I have done several times) and what you end up with is a bike, only thing missing is a clutch lever and 6 gears...........even though it does have a multiplate clutch fitted.
The latest T Max560 is still CVT but Yamaha have it to nigh on perfection...
Dread to think how much a T Max would cost if they (doubt it's possible) fitted a DCT engine.
As said, the X Max will do it all.......only thing it would loose out on is top speed and handling, as the T Max is a bike without gears, where the X Max is a little more scooter like, it's good though.
The 400 X Max.......very good scoot......I was originally looking for a 400 Majesty, none within my price range.
I had 2 Yamaha T Max,s.....but the X Max will nearly everything the TMax will do.
Donington Park....the newspaper I worked for had a hospitality box near Redgate......it was very busy one time and to get out they took us round the track to another exit............but behind a marshal car to stop us from turning it into a high speed run.
