Oh yeh that's true, i could always do a day trip to Mablethorpe if I get withdrawal symptoms.

Wife would love some winter sunshine now!.....we used to (when were both working) go to the Costa del Sol for her birthday in February, but not since we both retired......but that's not on the cards with the Covid situation, could not go anyway, as our passports expire soon.

Same situation here as last year.........only thing different this year is a Scarborough hol instead of Mablethorpe.

We did the camping malarkey in the 80,s, with a huge 4 berth frame tent. At the time it was good fun, but now in my dotage I much prefer a hotel with all the amenities. But each to their own, If you want to do it, go for it @gymwitch

Work gave me some work boots, the things were painful to wear for the 1st month..

I will stick with the Para boots, they even come broken in.
