  1. You'd like this place then. Obviously you go for the premium stuff on top first, lobster, crab, crayfish etc and that was all ok but the bottom layer was superb. The mussels, cockles and clams where the best I've had. I don't think they've been done justice cos to me they've always been presented cold and boil to death.. and the vinegary jarred version.. The razor clams can fuck right off as well, I've had them pretty much raw and well cooked like elastic, they're never good. The oysters don't float my boat either but I've never enjoyed the mentioned 3 as much. They keep them live in tanks out the back and they were large but still tender (no rubber bands). If I went back When I go back Ill be skipping the lobster n crab part of it.
  2. Here’s one I wanted to share last week but I was nervously conserving battery power most of the time. This was Lochlevans Seafood Cafes seafood platter. Sent me into a food coma for about an hour
  3. I like a good plate. To save bunging up ‘Pedros Food’ thread if you have a good plate or pot or BBQ or whatever stick it here.
  4. Yep. Test any of Bonnies and you’ll know straight away. I love them, love the way they look and feel but comparably they are cardigan n carpet slippers.
  5. I haven’t tried that model but I test rode the T100 and liked it but wasn’t blown away. At the time it was that, the rninet or the Ducati scrambler in the vying and the performance of the 9T stole it. I wasn’t happy with the price tag or the bhp on a new T100 but I’d happily have a used one. I found it a very relaxing ride I smiled a lot. It had soft suspension. Rode over potholes like they weren’t there but didn’t feel planted on the corners. If the BSA hadn’t appeared that would have been the chilled ride I would of gone for.
  6. So sorry to hear that Michelle. I dont doubt for a moment she'd be looking at you thinking "Thats my girl"
  7. Have you told her you've taken a pic of her arse and posted it on the internet?
  8. She's led a sheltered life cos they usually want a whole cornucopia of things
  9. Thats fine though isnt it, it is a motorcycle forum with a ride report section. He's not the only one who drops in, leaves a ride report and disappears. Plus I don't think everyone is comfortable joining in until they know the environment. Six was pretty quiet when I first joined and now we get pics n van action n laughs. Just takes some folk a while to warm up. I nearly went on a trip with Motorbiker but other things got in the way. Before I joined he was keen I knew what I was getting into so gave me the contact details of others going. They have nothing but good things to say, he's organised, considers all the angles, appreciates its everyones holiday so leaves options open and every single one individually commented about how quick witted and funny he is. If you're being slow on the uptake he takes no prisoners and by all accounts is larger than life. Thats the sort of person most of the folk on here would have loved sparring with. He also very kindly went out of his way to help me out with good advice when I started riding, he's a wise man. That to me is an asset.
  10. I'm shocked by the sudden marked reduction. Camped next to a river near Ben Nevis didn't see a single fly/midge/moquito. Cleaned my visor twice the entire time I was away, usually it needs doing every day. Somethings not right.
  11. Where's @Motobiker? Needed for Leatherman purchase advice- I know you have one and it will have be a considered purchase!
  12. Just had a look on the other place. Haven't been there for so long I couldn't remember what it was called and had to google it She last posted there 23 rd June. Maybe just found a new place to play.
  13. I like the look of their stuff. Read good reviews of it but for road riding the metal panniers hold more, lock easily, have liner bags that easily pull out so no unpacking repacking ... and they create leg space when you want to take a lie down in the gravel but don't want to get your legs squashed
  14. Sleeping in a van in hot weather Unless you're sleeping with the doors n windows open
  15. Heyho. Though some folk have a separate email for any social media accounts so the million a day notifications don't bung things up. Sometimes notification emails from here go straight in the junk folder on my email and I hardly ever check that. So she might not have received it.
  16. I'll get the pics together soon. I use Mac at home and it doesn't play nicely with uploading to here, or at all generally
