It'll be interesting to see the price. The new Hornet 750 is 7800€ so 10500€ could be pretty realistic. But, yeah, low slung exhaust and no bash plate? Strange!

We've got Critair stickers (clean air zones) for our cars and my motorbike. They cost about 5€ each and, as all of them are fairly low emission vehicles, we can enter most cities with the restrictions without further issue.

You stick to your Warburton's white putty and @MooN and myself will continue to enjoy the finer things! Viva la différence!

I'm pretty sure that my life took a different direction when I got into bikes. At one point I pretty much had 2 separate groups of friends......those with bikes and those without. I've still got friends who just don't "get" the biking thing and I guess they never will.

More Ugly, if that's at all possible?

Every day is the weekend for me now! Don't miss that work stuff one bit!

It's law to have winter tyres or snow socks/chains 1 November to end of March in some of the communes round here. My missus' journey to work falls just outside of the zone, but we'll probably get some snow socks for her car, just in case.

South Wales girl with a fantastic voice.

I'd love to go and see the statues on Easter Island, but suspect it's a bit beyond my reach now. Machu Picchu would be good too.

I don't know. Maybe it's that she does a fair mileage in the car getting to and from work. But she says that her confidence on the bike has gone for some reason. Maybe just a passing phase.

Yeah, just how it is at the moment, Pete. Weekends are a no-go for the bike at the moment, as Mandy has lost her biking mojo, and weekdays just evaporate! Hopefully I'll get out on the bike sometime this week if the weather holds.

RIP Nik Turner.

I love this photo of my missus in a traditional hut of the Sami people, who herd the reindeer. This holiday was special, because my missus was going into hospital on our return for a cancer operation, so it was something to take our minds off what lay ahead.

Yeah, it's a great place. Been there a few times myself. Late May/early June, when the rhododendrons are in flower, the carriage drive is fantastic.

I've stayed in Rothbury a couple of times too. A stones throw from Cragside.

Erm....no........pissed?.........probably!

One of my old customers retired many years ago from working in the hospital labs. I met him again at one of his old colleagues retirement dinner and he was telling me how he was spending his retirement welding stuff together and also cutting up other stuff with a plasma cutter that he'd acquired! He was as happy as a pig in shit! Bucket lists are not just places, but also "things"! Burn pits? Why not?

Yeah, I've been near to RAF Boulmer, but there's so many castles and fantastic places to visit along that coast.

We went to Tromso and the Lofoten Islands in Northern Norway just before all this Covid stuff kicked off. It was late February and chuffing cold, but I'd go back there again in a heartbeat! Brilliant place, bit expensive, but just stunning scenery!

I used to service analysers in the Royal Cornwall Hospital in Truro, so I'd head down early autumn and early spring for the routine services. A day to drive down, a day to service the analysers and a day to drive back, nice and leisurely.

Oh, and I do like Cornwall too, but it's just too mad busy during the summer months. Fantastic outside of that, though.
