Bruised both shins it did bloody hurt and in work last week i twatted the left shin on the vans tow bar right on the bruise and later on the large stainless steel instrument i was carrying swung down and twatted the other shin, six30 is right i'm like a frank Spencer reincarnated

Just a quick hello from me. I have been riding for many years, started off in the late 70's with the usual 50cc rockets I then moved away from bikes for a few years and returned back in 2005 or so when I passed my bike test. I've ridden mainly roads but had a brief foray into green laning with a DRZ400, that ended with a badly broken shoulder and a DRZ up for sale. I have had numerous bikes ZZR600, 1100 and a very brief stint with a 1400, Triumph Speed triple 1050, Honda CBR etc etc Mainly mundane stuff. I retired a few years ago and then my marriage broke down so now living alone my thoughts turned to bikes again. I bought an old (2002) vintage BMW F650GS. I then set off on a camping trip around my home country of Ireland ( I currently live in the uk) I got off the ferry in Dublin and turned right and followed the entire coastline arriving back in Dublin having covered around 2700 miles. I'm now putting the final touches to my next ride out which is France, Spain, Portugal, and Morocco which i hope to be on my way within the next couple of weeks. I plan to spend Christmas in Portugal, then travel across to Morocco in the new year. The attached photo was the bike when I bought it. I have changed some things but overall I'm happy with the bike, we are happy plodding along together. So hello.

I may go out tomorrow I may also take up jogging, but I doubt either are very likely to happen. Wife is at the hospital in the morning, no doubt she will be there for a couple of hours, or longer, so I have some free time, I will more than likely have a lay in

You're taking the chance that the wife is in the hospital to have a snooze? WTF? You're deaf, what does it matter if she's in or not to sleep on a normal day? Have a wank or go out on the scooter, or just play loud music to annoy the neighbours.

Chilli ride home from work this morning, just above zero when I left but I had the right gear so warm enough. Stunning ride across the moor this morning. Light traffic and I passed all there was. I’m getting very attached to this CBF especially now I have the bigger touring screen with its protection. Just a good bike, not the best at anything. Handles well, is fast enough and frugal enough. Good lights, doesn’t look too knackered and easy to fix. It’s not worth much so I happy putting the miles on it, definitely hits a sweet spot in my troubled mind. . Also got to add the Oxford heated grips are the dogs Bollix . They work really well and are much better than the ones on my Hornet. I am normally always looking for the next bike but I think the CBF is going to break me of that habit. Bloody hospital is in uproar as we have the roofers in.

Wife dragged me out to watch a couple of bands. Only local so easy walk home if it weren’t for the huge hill between the pub and home

Been working on my firewood store again today and almost killed myself doing something stupid on a ladder. The wife is home with a broken wrist from her holiday in Croatia a few weeks ago and now my wrist is fucked as well probably be ok tomorrow. And i got my stupidity on camera what a twat
