Last night was quite cold, and this morning it didn't look promising, a lot of thick fog. Decided to go anyway, and have a coffee on the hills. Coffee shop had a few bikes parked in front, with lots of people around. Plenty of other bikes and bicycles on the road too, so I figured it would get crowded and avoided it. Rode to my secret spot to just look at the view. Didn't take many pictures, but am just finishing editing a video, which isn't turning out quite like I expected, but there you go. Bike got pretty dirty from the dirt roads, too. Ended up having a cup of barley coffee at home

Figured out my starting troubles.....and managed to get a short ride in! ?

Had a little trouble making it not boring, don't know if I made it though. There are a couple of short dirt roads in there, just the kind of stuff I enjoy on this bike. Don't think the camera angle is favorable though, will probably change next time.

Apparently Jupiter and Saturn are in alignment tonight. The last time was in 1226 when The Emperor, Frederick the Second was due to set sail from Brindisi for Jerusalem. However, he had to turn back because the port was closed because of a pandemic that was raging. Spooky or what?

Since i couldn't go out on any of the bikes today i decided to start them all as its been a while. Everyone started except for the CB battery is totally dead, i got an old car battery to jump start it she fired up but not like it normally does and would only run on full choke. My infrared thermometer confirmed what i thought only running on two cylinders so strips the bowl off the one carb and its full of shit and the pilot jet is blocked. To get at the rest of the carbs i had to remove them first time on this bike and its a bitch Every bowl was like this, how the fuck its run all these years i don't know. Put it all back together and she's singing again ?

Well, things look good for a nice ride today. The crazy wind storm has passed and both bikes in the house are in one piece for a change. TREES HERE I COME........??

When i bought the bike Bob there was no filters on the fuel tap. I found out when i ran out of fuel and turned it to reserve to find it didn't have one. Managed to get hold of another fuel tap with the filters fitted i checked them and their clean so it must be from before i fitted them As for the vacuum cleaner all i'm saying is it could suck a golf ball through a garden hose

Have you got an inline filter on there Fred ? it's not rust from the tank is it ? Oh and your vacumn cleaner is gayer than a gay thing ?

I thought it was a fun video, beautiful landscape, nice roads and funky tunes. The BMW does sound nice. ? The camera angle was cool, but perhaps another spot up front for a different view during the ride. (don't get me wrong, had no troubles watching you from behind ?)

I've just had a look on my you tube channel and i have 2 clips with over 9700 views and one unanswered question from seven years ago And I have just worked out how to delete all the comments and turn off comments so i don't have to deal with them in future not that i did anyway LOL

It's been months since I last ventured out on two wheels, due to the wife going back to the UK to finish of her career as a nurse. I never knew 6 months would last so long LOL anyway the sun shone yesterday so I dragged the bike out of the garage and went across the mountains to Benidorm and had a blast. i found benidorm extremely quiet which is understandable I suppose considering whats going on in the world. Made a little video while I was at it.

I'm not a cleaner so just dump lube on whenever it needs it but since i switched to using gear oil the chain seems to be almost self cleaning. Just remember this is the XR and its a bit like a gay boy because its usually up to its nuts in shit
