Yeah I said as much to them, road sense is transferable from 2 wheels to 4. They are talking about moving out and growing up and all that stuff. I have told them that growing up is very expensive and to hang around here where the bills are paid. We shall see.

Not very well....Yet. Fortunately, I use the front brake most of the time (LH side)...but I am brainstorming a way to use the rear brake through either a linked brake system or fabing up a new lever that will accommodate the hook better. Also got the same idea for the manual shifter in my 35 y/o pick-up....yet another item on my To-Do list.

Hopefully it won't last with them both being off bikes, but hopefully with them having bike experience it will make them reasonable cage drivers

Just ridden How Highs Kawasaki death trap into St Austell for him. Took it to his dad’s so that he can sell it for him. I think Shadow has convinced him he wants to learn to drive and get a car. . I told him he could store it one of my sheds but he wants to sell it. I can see his point as he had hardly ridden it for weeks, I think his last off has blown his confidence. I told him there was no rush but you can’t put an old head on young shoulders. Only two bikers in the house now

Well I did get the bikes swopped round. Did some shopping, which for some reason we have to do again later today. Got pissed Saturday evening and suffered for it all yesterday. Taking the grandkids to a local animal park soon so that'll be busy and a pain. Looking forward to my bottle of wine tonight.

Washed everything so it's all nice and shiny now. The batteries Indian use in their bikes are garbage. I replaced the damn thing less than a year ago and the new one is knackered already. Need to see if I can find the receipt as it should be under warranty but I think I'm going to get a lithium one.

Met up w/ my mate yesterday for a spin down Clark creek Rd. I had to try & talk him into getting out as he'd received some news that his Aunt was not doing well health wise earlier that morning. I was patient & gently reminded him that it would be a cryin' shame NOT to get out on such a beautiful day. Over the course of our ride, he ended up thanking me 3 times for talking him into it. The contrast of that cloudless blue sky against all the fresh greenery was amazing.... As an added treat, we ran across this beautiful little colt along this farm on the way back...had to stop for a pic.... Great day for a ride....can't wait till the next one....
