Watched the eclipse yesterday from the top of a large nearby hill, along with hundreds of other who had the same idea. It’s on a small country road- going back to the car people who had turned up later than us and couldn’t squeeze onto the grass verge just stopped and abandoned their cars in the middle of the road.

TBH...It was nice to get out from all the wildfire smoke that we've been breathing for weeks now....& see some actual blue sky today. This year has been the worst wildfire season on record for the state of OR...with over 2 million acres burned. 1st time it rains should be declared a statewide holiday.
