Could try compressed air, that can work along with a screwdriver and possibly so squirty WD40 type of stuff. The vid is about fitting but it works to take them off as well. -

You can sometimes get a long thin screwdriver in-between the grip and tube and spray in a bit of lubricant but if it's a good glue you'd best cut rather than damage the tube. -
Waaay too obvious who wrote this thread....not a twat....yeah, Right....just depends on who you ask...

Great choices both of them.... but this useless excuse of a cyborg is casting his vote for @Saul...he's definitely earned it.

Time to vote for member of the year 2025, this is for people who have contributed the most to this place over 2025, in a positive way. Hence why a certain Canadian is not in the running. Only two nominees because the rest of you are useless. Winner will be announced on Christmas Eve. Probably followed by receiving a knighthood in the new years honours list.

Vote for twat of the year, votes can be changed, possibly one of the greatest events of the motorcycling world, winner will be announced on Christmas Eve at 9pm U.K. time.

It’s glued onto the throttle twist tube, you would have to cut it off. -

Can anyone give me a clue on how this comes off? The bar end just unscrews but I can't see how to get the bloody grip off. I prob won't reuse it but id rather not destroy it if possible. -
Absolutely, that’s the fun part.

Keep up the good work Saul. Always learning along the way.
