  2. Four of of us set out for a Sunday ride to Bideford up in North Devon. Martyn on his Guzzi T85, Gary on his ancient Bonniville 650, Steve on his Royal Enfield Meteor and me on my Hornet. First call of the day was to travel over to Bodmin, Camelford then Otterham Station to the Route 39 Cafe for breakfast. I parked next to some sort of Harley Got chatting to 3 chaps with these lovely old pensioner magnets. Gary was in his element Suitably fed with unhealthy fare we then headed up to Bude then onto Bideford and Kev’s Cafe, not really a cafe just an ex pat biker and mate from Fowey. He is also into old crap so again Gary was in his element. Guess who organised the day After more tea and tedious Brit Bike talk and we headed off again across the Torridge Bridge then turned inland and headed across the Taw Valley to Crediton. Had to stop so the E5 snobs could get their fill up I just waited patiently while Gary indulged more of his pensioner groupies who had to stop and gush over his fossil Union Road Moto Velo. Another cafe. Proper hipster biker cafe but the staff were friendly enough and the coffee and cake was good. Lovely old GS750 with a period Yoshi pipe according to the owner. I would love something like that, many hours of fun and fettling in that sort of thing for me. Moto Velo done we headed off to Mortenhampsted and onto Dartmoor from the North side. Breath takingly beautiful place. We took the time to stop for an ice lolly amongst the ponies and Holibobs . Just for Marcy and his proclivities here are the Dogs Bollocks Rode right across the moor to Tavistock then across the Tamar and back into Cornwall and the ride home. Trips stats for the day
  3. I think the time is coming to fit a permanent dash cam to the bike, earlier today I also had a Tesla driver almost reverse into me, I was very restrained and told him to be more observant in future to which he agreed to, he had his family in the car, hence my calm demeanour, by the look on his face it was far more threatening than giving him both barrels. His wife looked doe eyed at me and then told him off, that’s the Harley effect.

  15. Some short clips from my day out taking Photographs of bikers Just the route back home in short sections, I'll add the vids one at a time One of the vids could be fun, as I got to the south side of the Black Mountain I spotted a bike in my mirrors, I assume he had been trying to chase me, that spurred me on for a short while but then it dawned on me it could be an unmarked police biek (we have a lot of them here), so I played sensible and slowed down to see what he did and he overtook, that was a red rag to a bull LOL
