Its the same wherever you advertise ... I had my VW Touareg on auto trader for £X and got lots of "I can collect it today for £half X " and other similar crap. I just deleted them although I did go back to a couple and said "to you its £2x" ... then you get the "I'll be round at 4pm to look at it" and then never show. A mate of mine was flogging his Volvo and 2 guys showed up, one asked to see the MOT history so he went inside to get it and saw one of them squirting something around the engine bay as he came out again. They then said "you got an oil leak mate, we will give you £halfX". Turns out the even put some in the rad expansion tank.

As a holding deposit yeh..

spent yesterday wondering if Pedro was going to come far enough east for me to ride out and meet up for a drink / feed. Didn't get nearly close enough yesterday and it's too late today now ( cos I know where he wants to be tonight and it's too far away for my knackered old frame to ride in one go.) Shame, but there it is.

How long did the Ohlins leg last Bob?

I've broke 2 heavy-duty cables on my arm....pay Stoopid money for parts from the "authorized" dealer & they don't last 2 months. I now spend $25 for 6 SS bike cables from a very cool bike shop in La Grande...& they last me well over a year...problem solved.

Might help you do something useful on here.
