Has been known.    🤣  All the pubs have slate floors so a few inches of flooding is fine as long as you have the right footwear or don’t mind padding.    Not joking, have done it on many a spring tide in the past.

I think he may be retrieving an empty that floated away from the Legion.  The empties cage is on that side of the building and they often have more empties than room in the cage.

I spent most of the summer of 1971 in Bristol......and at the time it seemed very upmarket and civilised compared to Swansea.

Nothing, it’s a city. Tis the same if not more upmarket than decades ago, fighting gentrification in fact. 

But if you will go comparing it to Swansea..
