Sky called us several times to say that we have to be switched to full fibre broadband, they came, took one look at the alarm system that is fitted in the bungalow and said "We cannot switch you with this system installed".....from what he said in a year or 2 we will have very slow Internet and streaming could be a problem  😕

Can't remember exactly when they passed the fiber cable in this area...many years ago...it was the pits before that remember taking minutes just to load a Pic...

Just switching for a little better price and better chanels...

Seen about three in the last week.

I'd stay clear of the woods...they might mistake you for one of their own and try to copulate with you... a Buckster Bigfoot mix breed...stuff nightmares are made from...

A decent set of grips is thems, I used them on my courier bike in 2012, couple them with bar muffs and you don't need gloves even in the coldest crappest weather, but id never advocate riding without wearing gloves

The hot grips were a birthday present for my daughter’s friend who I got through her CBT.   She is a genuine keen biker who sufferers from Reynard’s Syndrome so gets very cold extremities.   Perfect gift I thought from our family to her as she commutes to Truro so genuinely needs them.

There's nothing worse than being cold on a bike, i can deal with getting wet but can't stand getting cold

Spot on, I feel the cold because of the heart meds I’m on.    I got the right thermal gear to wear but it’s not always convenient to change out of it at work so I appreciate it’s difficult for our friend with Reynards to ride to work in the colder months.  She will be better off when she passes her test and can get something with more protection to ride.    Her little CBR is  good as 125s go but not ideal for cold weather commuting.

The best bike I had for keeping dry was the Chinky,  a good fairing, and it came with a summer (short)  and winter (tall) screen, also the low pod mirrors  ( same as on the Honda Pan) shielded and directed the rain away from my hands.

Best weather protection I had was my 1978 BMW R100RS, that bathtub fairing was excellent.     To be fair my CBF600S with a touring screen isn't at all bad but the BMW was king with two bloody great cylinders keeping your feet warm and dry.

My '83 VF Sabre w/ the old skool Windjammer was hard to beat when the weather turned sour...ample hand protection & a created vacuum over the gauges that stirred up the heat from the motor to help keep the front of my 1-piece rain-suit reasonably dry... do miss that Corbin seat though...quite comfy.

After hunting down the proper tools to finish this project, I can honestly say the back porch is ready for Winter...👍 It did get frustrating at times trying to just hold on to the screw gun & the new electric shear I bought to trim down the metal for the oddball sized panels....blasted hook can be real PITA sometimes. 🙄 But at least it's done... now onto getting the lawn mowed & getting my 2nd truck running properly...hopefully just a fuel filter change.🤞

A couple of those salvage scooters would fetch more money than your barge
