Out and About

Me on my Himalayan and a mate aboard an old Yamaha XT600E went exploring today around and north of Lorca in the Murcia region. The temperature was a manageable 32 Celsius and the trails were very easy going, including part of the route of the Via Augusta, which was a Roman road that went from Malaga along the south of Spain, up the eastern coast and all way around the Mediterranean to Rome. We didn’t go quite that far but it still made us feel like centurions. 🤣


I managed to have a little lay down as I turned the bike around and slipped on some deep gravel. A graceful dismount was met with rapturous applause. 😆
