Third Weekend of July!

These weeks are flying by.......which is fine by me because July and August here are hard going.

its hot airplane GIF

I'm planning to pick up an abandoned railway station on either Saturday or Sunday......not sure which station yet though. Probably the less sweaty option!

What you got planned?

Decision's.. decision's ?

Shall I get the mower out or not?

I'd leave it for another week - looks good right now. Glad we don't have lawns here.

Headed out to ride an old train route today. They pulled up the tracks and now it's just a dirt road for me to ride on.

There are! And a train car left there at 12,000' feet up on the Pass. I tried to get there once before this summer and the road was closed off. Gonna try again today and see if it's open. Pics to follow....

Do you really really really want to see it??

You will have to wait......having my tea now?

Yeh.......I started off on Scooters in 71.

Lambretta TV175 and then a Vespa SS180 which I passed my test on.

Off shortly to find another abandoned station.......though on this one I'm not sure if it still exists.

Hope so......because the photo of a brick in the middle of nowhere is not exactly inspirational.

Did they have a equivalent to Beetching in Spain?

Must have......but he came along 20 years later in the mid 80's.

Spain is always years behind in everything.

Just a note @BusBoy told me years ago that the exhaust tip i made using a 45 degree bend of standard copper pipe would never last....now, it might seem petty to bring this up, butt, and this is a big butt....you;d be right, its petty butt it lasted so there. :classic_unsure:
