  1. I think that one glues onto the helmet in a permanent fashion rather than using the removeable brackets that the others have. It's easy to remove the unit for charging, so that's good. Looks to have shorter range which you don't care about if you're going to use it for just yourself. Should be a good piece of kit.
  2. That's the one I have - it's okay but not great at speed.
  3. I've used the Cardo units for about 3 years now - they work very nicely for phone, gps instructions, etc. Music is okay when you're at slow speeds but kinda sucks over 70 mph. Not a lot of bass , either. As far as talking to others, it works well up to about 80 mph on my Super Tenere (short windshield) and better on the Goldwing. Be sure to get the newer "Edge" model as it detaches from the mount easier and is easier to charge while detached from the helmet.
  4. I don't care how much it snows today, it's Friday and that means Mexican food and beers tonight with the wife. No amount of snow will keep me home.
  5. Sorted. Gotta start warming up my back muscles for the big dig out on Sunday.
  6. Wife's car (2022 Cadillac XT5) has a rather large keyless fob with an remote start feature. Pretty nice to have in cold weather. Nice to hop in a car with warm seats and steering wheel.
  7. Apparently it's gonna pitch like a summbitch here today / tomorrow with a bit of a breeze thrown in for good measure.
  8. Just did an image search on that - it is pretty cool looking. Need to get a trip over to go look at some of the sites you guys talk about.
  9. Not Welsh, but here's a local one that messes up the tourists; Saguache . As in Saguache County, Saguache Mountains, etc. Pronounced locally as "sa - watch". Like most weird names in western USA, it's an Indian name (Ute tribe). Meaning "Blue Earth"
  10. It's peppermint flavored Xmas beer - who the fuck drinks that????
  11. And I bet ya stole the lumber for the deck, ya bastage!
  12. During and after install of some barn doors. Panels and frame made from alder (neither soft nor hardwood - kinda in the middle) and handles made from scrap rebar I had in the shop. I made the slide as well - it kinda looks like a piece of 1/4" X2" steel because it is ...
  13. Fucker. Before and after pics while making....
  14. Cheapest shit I could find as they were broke. This was all beetle kill pine - soft as shit. I made the table frames with steel supports so I could switch out the pine when it went to shit... but 6 years later and they haven't crapped out yet.
  15. I made the bar and tables (ones on the right with benches) for a local brewery. Did 8 tables with two benches each and two "L" shaped bars that were put together like a square. Took me over 2 months to do - one of my bigger projects . Still have some left over beer that they gave me...
  16. Hey @Bernied - fellow USA rider here. Welcome!
  17. No, a KTM is like a KTM. These are really popular around here as well...
  18. No - wish I did but already have too many expensive hobbies and I can't afford one like that.
