True statement.... My wife & her dog shed waaay more than my dog....no joke. Mrs. Hook has hair as long as mine used to be...& it never seems to stop growing...just like mine. Now her dog is another best friend of mine....she's a rescue...Chihuahua/Italian Greyhound mix who's almost 13 y/o & can run like a gazelle....circles around my dog who's only 7 y/o. She's such a character...goes absolutely ape-shit over spaghetti or tacos... I tell our friends that she's the fastest Chihuahua in the county....

FACT!! My "Shorkie" (ShiTzu/Yorkie) is my best friend....been through a helluva lot w/ me, former wife's illness & death...then moving 280 miles to Elgin. She's such a good girl....but she now thinks she owns the house & I just pay the bills. Our resident Security Guard always on duty.....

The Mercedes vans I saw in Germany were even bigger...

My 2016 Equinox took a shite on us 2 weeks ago....fuel pump was leaking & fuel level sensor snapped....all made from crappy plastic parts....still waiting for new parts. Bill so far....$2k I'm so grateful for my 34 y/o Chevy PU that rarely gives me any grief & is a breeze to turn a wrench on.... Absolutely the right Ride to have when the snow falls...

Met Pete in '03 when he cleaned up the YOC site....was also a member of the AC RD site at the time, which I learned a boatload from... over the years, met some great chaps whilst following Pete's various bike sites...definitely had some great laughs...

Finally dug the fuel pump out from the tank on my GMC S-15 yesterday....ordered a new one from Rock Auto, that'll be here by Friday....just shy of $90. Still kinda miss my old '83 GMC squarebody....I replaced the mechanical fuel pump on it once....20 bux across the counter! Those days are long gone now...

I've been called Worse....by Better...

That's what I live in....ain't ashamed to say. Mfr'd home w/ a total footprint of 24x40.... w/ only 7ft. sidewalls....easier to heat & cool. Bought it outright 6 yrs. ago for &102k...can't touch ANYplace for that price now. TBH, the real selling point was the 24x24 heated & insulated pole-barn garage w/ a covered carport the same size adjacent to it....all sitting on 5/8 of an acre. The blasted property taxes are only 1/3rd of what I was paying on the left side of the state.

1 of the smarter things I ever did was quit smoking... got real tired of paying good money just kill myself...ridiculously Stoopid! But tbh, still burn a little bit of cannabis about 3 times a YEAR....usually when I'm camping.

Weird coincidence....my 9y/o Chevy Equinox gave up the ghost a block away from the dealer I was driving to yesterday. The Mrs. & a coupla by standing girls pushed it to the service dept....damn car wouldn't let me out to help push unless it was in Park! Just got a call back from the Service Mgr.....the fuel pump has been leaking & the fuel level sensor also broke, so now I'm making due w/ my 34 y/o truck that fortunately, is as reliable as a Timex watch...while I wait for back-ordered parts to show up. Already looking at $2k for a bill. So glad it waited till we got back from our recent 3400 mile road trip before it took a dive. I'd much rather look after my 2 old trucks that are much easier to diagnose problems when they occur. Couldn't agree more with what was stated earlier....Build quality flat out SUCKS on anything made after '04 or so....Far too many sensors, switches & other electronic BullSh*t!!

He's gotta keep that chrome trailer hitch ball looking like new....covers it with a tennis ball....Duh!
