53F this morning after a night of gale force winds w/ 60+mph gusts....blew down half of a willow tree in my back yard. Then spent all day w/ Mrs. Hook at the hospital while she got a new right knee. She did pretty good but still needs to sleep off the pain meds. I'll go back down to La Grande tomorrow to bring her home. Our house just isn't the same w/o her...& our dogs know it.

Well after another Atmospheric River hit the PNW in the last 3 days...I'm sure grateful I moved to the east side of the state. We've gotten some much needed rain, but the west side is still swimming.... Hwy 18 near Otis OR... Tillamook OR near the coast....

Mrs. Hook & I were invited to dinner at a friend's place in Cove OR this evening...it'll be nice to get outta the house amidst all the liquid Sunshine that's been falling from the sky lately...
