Sincerest Condolences Lyn....I've definitely been there before....I'll be praying for you mate...

Probably the furthest thing from her mind.... the neighbor down below's from me is kinda the same....some Bikers he pissed off came & tried to burn his house down...torched the whole roof & he finally bulldozed the rest down...then he built a lame 8ft. fence around the place outta shipping pallets! He bought a 5th wheel trailer to live in & the rest of his yard is filled up w/ 3 boats, numerous Hardleys, a few pick-up carcass'....basically your typical Redneck Honey hole. It's known locally as the Pallet Palace..... Small Town livin', gotta love it

SW winds blowing pretty good here today...bring the rest of the leaves down around here. Mrs. hook & I are recovering nicely from our weekly Friday-night Tequila shooting. Taking a day this next week to finally repaint our bedroom...about 6 yrs. overdue.

The Scooter Brigade continues to grow.... this oughta make @boboneleg a bit happier....

Just stepped outside for a second....could definitely feel a humidity increase & it just started to spit some snow....
-
But she's definitely got more hair on top of her head than you....so there is that....

Let me introduce you to Hendrix Rain....my 1st GREAT grandson. He weighed just under 7 lbs. & is doing quite well. Gotta make an effort to go see him next year down in NM...
-
A coupla of 'em a time or 2.... The '83 VF 750s was a great mile-muncher....did a 2500 mile trip on it in 98hrs....great bike. The XR 80 is now running better than ever & in the hands of my oldest grandson....& all lined up to be my GREAT grandson's 1st bike....

Pressure-Washed my carport & put the boat away for the winter yesterday....got some errands to run today but should be back in time for a nap....
-
Joseph was beautiful... Mrs. Hook took all the pics from the lake...but I did find this one taken at 8pm...downtown Joseph.... Just noticed the perverbial "Sheep Shed" on the RH side....Maybe that's where Fred has been hiding out?....lol
-
30F last night but quite lovely out today....heading to Joseph for some fresh air & some CBD oil for my f'd up back.
-
I've broke 2 heavy-duty cables on my arm....pay Stoopid money for parts from the "authorized" dealer & they don't last 2 months. I now spend $25 for 6 SS bike cables from a very cool bike shop in La Grande...& they last me well over a year...problem solved.

Drove almost 600 miles (round trip) yesterday to go visit a coupla old buddies I've known since grade school...haven't seen those guys for a handful of years. Feel pretty darned blessed that I live where I do now & don't have some of the health issues that they do. Definitely come to the conclusion that the whole left side of OR has turned into an absolute sh*t-hole-- It rained off & on across the state yesterday but today looks promising weather wise....time to get the chain put back on the Mullet & go for a Ride!
-
Gotta make sure that seat is well-sanded....don't wanna catch slivers in your backside... Don't forget to submerge it in lemon pledge before you put it away for the winter...
-
Cold Hard Fact: It's much more fun to ride a slow bike fast, than it is to ride a fast bike slow....
-
You scored an old Sporty & it's already been SuMo'd....& you can't wait to show us what kind of SmokeShow it can do?

After hunting down the proper tools to finish this project, I can honestly say the back porch is ready for Winter... It did get frustrating at times trying to just hold on to the screw gun & the new electric shear I bought to trim down the metal for the oddball sized panels....blasted hook can be real PITA sometimes. But at least it's done... now onto getting the lawn mowed & getting my 2nd truck running properly...hopefully just a fuel filter change.
-
My '83 VF Sabre w/ the old skool Windjammer was hard to beat when the weather turned sour...ample hand protection & a created vacuum over the gauges that stirred up the heat from the motor to help keep the front of my 1-piece rain-suit reasonably dry... do miss that Corbin seat though...quite comfy.
-
Attempting to finish the 4ft. high privacy wall around my back porch today....waiting for a drill-powered nibbler attachment to show up today from Amazon...so I can cut the oddball pieces of sheet metal siding. It oughta look halfway proper since the pattern matches the garage....
-
Taking Mrs. Hook to ID for a dental appointment today....at least the weather is cooperating....
-
Before we know it, we'll be seeing a "Trailer Action" thread popping up.... oughta make @Six30 proud...

About to go retrieve some sheet metal siding I ordered for the privacy wall I'm building around the back porch...along w/ some 1x6's & clips for the framing. Looking 4ward to some coconut shrimp for dinner tonight...as well as some Tequila shooters.
