  1. Glad you showed up everyone was worried there was talk of flouncing and it looked like there was going to be a mass gravel trap search at one point looking forward to the pic's
  2. I thought that but they are metal and bolted directly to the handlebars so no damping there the bike feels smooth though the bars but you notice the vibration in the footrests as soon as you get on it but you stop noticing it pretty quick
  3. You've been spying on me i thought i saw something in the woods it was a flash from your binocular lenses i believe
  4. I usually do as well but i kept putting it off today for some reason probably because it never went above 4c all day and i couldn't find it LOL
  5. That's a thought it will be in all the time when it snows or wont it be an outdoor cat anyway
  6. Forgot about that, it works great sticks out enough so i cant even see my elbow and one thing that surprised me was it doesn't vibrate as much as the one on the XR or the Dog does except when its ticking over that is
  7. Old age Pete i used to be able to hold on as long as i liked when i felt like i needed a wee but now i cant and forget about it until its too late and i really have to go
  8. Managed to persuade myself to go out on the bike this afternoon same old story didn't feel like going out but once i was out i didn't want to go home Usual route over Eggy this old girl was blocking the track and wouldn't move so thought i'd take a photo but she mooved on as i went for the camera Wanted to check out a couple of lanes i hadn't ridden before the first one was challenging enough to make it interesting but short enough not to wear me out no photos of that one but this was the other pretty easy going and mostly broken tarmac got to check with the council to see if its legal now Followed some bike tracks though the forestry this is as far as i could go or should i say let myself go on my own might have to come back with a mate to explore further. the bike is laying down because it was too steep and soft to use the stand and i was busting for a piss been holding it in for a few hours almost pissed myself trying to get it out Dropping back out of the forestry the way i came in looked a lot steeper from here than when i rode up Headed back to the forestry near to where my parents live and had a little play riding over a small log very tame to what the enduro boys do but after half a dozen goes i was pooped i need more bike time for sure Headed home from here down my secret lane near my home haven't been up it for a while next time me thinks
  9. How you getting on with the leg now Bob i see your doing quite a bit of walking now so i presume its all good again
  10. Just sent a poo sample off, got a bowel screening kit in the post this morning i think i'm at that age where i need to find a doctor with small hands
  11. No good asking me you just quoted my post where i admit i know fuck all about it
  12. Or still waiting for the AA to turn up
  13. That's the problem i don't believe anything and will be the first to admit i know fuck all about religion but i found it funny anyway
  14. He's not but his seminary course starts next week so he could be in the future
  15. I like the Honda ones as they integrate neatly with the bike so you get the heat setting displayed on the screen plus the controller for the grips is built into them so no separate switch but even with all that to persuade me i'd still like them to get hot, i know fussy ain't i
  16. The Honda heated grips were useless on the Africa twin when it came out barely getting warm they were £300 before fitting and Honda refused to acknowledge there was a fault with them luckily I read about them before I bought any
  17. Yes but as i said this was about 30 years ago this was all new to a lot of people including myself and only ever seen on TV. There was a lot of piss taking behind his back by everyone who worked with him including myself i forgot to say he was about 50 years old at the time. Times have moved on and it's all more normal now and acceptable but i will admit i still cant get my head around this shit what if surgery for this wasn't available what would happen then.
  18. Might have mentioned this before but this thread reminded me of it again. Many years ago probably 30 ish i was working on a welsh water site installing a shower and toilet in one of their office buildings, i was curious why as there were already working showers and toilets there, when i asked whats the point of another shower i was told it was for Sue, i assumed it was for someone who might have a disability and couldn't use the the ladies, so anyway i carried on. i was talking to someone else the next day and asked who Sue was all i got was oh you haven't met Sue yet have you and they walked away laughing, a few weeks later i found out Sue was an electrician called Phil i used to bump into on various welsh water sites he just started turning up for work wearing a dress and wig saying he was a woman and his name was now Sue, the problem was none of the women wanted him using the ladies toilets and the men didn't want him in the men's so that's why i was there. I first saw him after that when i was driving up the A470 and was passing a welsh water van, i always look in to see if i know who's in there and i'll never forget what i saw it was Phil the leccy with a white dress on and an ill fitting blonde wig along with bright red lipstick which all went really well with his thick hairy arms shoulders and 5 o clock shadow, he was a damn ugly bloke and didn't transfer over to a woman well. He carried on working for welsh water for a few years after that but was a liability he was constantly filing sexual harassment charges against his work mates so nobody wanted to work with him and eventually took the full plunge and had gender affirmation surgery. But after he had his cock chopped of he changed his mind decided it wasn't what he wanted and then tried to sue welsh water for not giving him proper counselling before his surgery. Welsh water supported him in every way they could before and after the surgery, they footed the bill for almost everything he asked for to accommodate him probably because they were too scared to say no in case the press got hold of it as stuff like this was a hot topic back then, not sure what happened in the end but it was clear to me he needed psychiatric help from the start not his cock chopped off.
