My old xl250s would do a little over 70mph flat output would happily sit at 60 all day. You can cover the ground maybe not as quick as you'd like at the smaller end.
Rain forecast but ok at the Mo. Got to go to the bank so there'll be market chips. Mandi wants to pick new colours for the kitchen back room and conservatory so that'll be fun.
I've had 2 spells.
First go was around 12 years. Mandi then tool over the roll and went full-time while I brought the kids up. Think I've been back about 7 years.
The change in job was huge when I went back. So much electronics to catch up on and it's going to get much worse for people like me.
Had to give the shaft a scrap and still had to give the new sprocket a few taps to get it all the way home. It's def using all the spline available.
The boys on the TDM forum have stopped using JT front sprockets as they're already a bit of a loose fit on the output shaft from new.
No and not bothered yet.
To much work and not enough sleep. I've always been a crap sleeper and can't turn my head off when trying to sort a problem. All got too much.
Fingers crossed but in no hurry, be nice to get away from this electronic crap.
Mine arrived today and it's now fitted. Should of checked the bike first as it had a 14t on the front and 40 rear.
Guess I'll be getting a new chain and rear sprocket now.
