Portugal has been complaining that the UK doesn't open traffic for tourists to come here and return freely, arguing that we are better than the UK at the moment, and that they have no reason to protect themselves from us. Well, if the UK is really in a far worse condition than Portugal at the moment then why in the royal fuck would we want hordes of uk tourists coming over? And why is the government openly trying to open borders? Honestly, there is no shame in politics or economics.

I would make extra clear to a bike that is renting a bike in Spain that you wish to take it to the UK, even more so if it’s a year from now.

We disagree. That would be true if the main thing in motorcycle tours would be motorcycling, but it's not. The main thing in motorcycle tours is to hold the hand of hopeless people that are too afraid to tour even a civilized western country on their own, motorcycles are just the vehicles in that business.

Couple of months ago, on my birthday

I love that scenery, those roads, everything. What's your average speed on those roads? I ask because that kind of distance for a day ride is something I can only do when using motorways. If I stick to the kind of roads I enjoy I am frequently using second and third gear a lot in the twisty areas. There is no way to get around small roads here. Also, are you happy with that helmet and wind buffeting?

I had a nice close look at an S1000RR the other day, at my mechanic's place. Fucking awesome to have a bike that is 200hp and only a little wider than it's rear wheel. Only wish I had the physique to ride that thing, and the skill to do it properly too

A lot of the TRK500 bennelis here in Portugal, I think people buy them because they're cheap and look like a Multistrada, from a distance and at over 100kmh. However, reviews do seem to be good regarding reliability. I'd rather buy a used GS1200, GS800, Transalp, or Strom.
