  1. Had this conversation on the phone with a guy that is trade director of a factory, and the twat just plain out has a fucking tantrum over the phone, and on a screaming tantrum is going to increase prices for the whole market. A fucking tantrum! It's like I'm talking with children.
  2. I am hating Spaniards right now, miserable twats. Just a few selected ones, though. Tomorrow I'll be riding to my home, and spending a couple of days alone there, then taking a ride around Alentejo and Algarve next week, just a 3 or 4 day ride with a couple of days stopped in the middle, riding slowly and hopefully enjoying quiet roads.
  3. In dry dusty conditions, for riding offroad, I think lubing it extensively is not your friend
  4. I clean it when I wash the bike, which is not as bad as it seems because I tend to wash the XR almost every time I ride it as it gets really muddy. By cleaning it, I mean spraying some chain cleaner and rinsing off.
  5. That indeed looks like the face of a guy with nine of whatever stuck up his bum.
  6. I've carried a plug repair kit for ages, with three or four bottles Co2 bottles. Never had a puncture, plus I've changed my plug for an USB plug to charge my mobile on the go so no plug for a compressor. I'm thinking I'll be screwed if it ever comes to it on a deserted stretch.
  7. I honestly wouldn't wear one just cruising to the beach in the summer, it's just something that's normal because it's just as it is here, you just "wear a helmet". But I get why you would rather not sometimes. But not a nazi helmet, same as not wearing an SS uniform overcoat when out shopping to help you deal with winter on your way to work

    Scooter Yobs

When every southern european turns up for a drink by the seaside and is faced with brits in our "winter"
  9. If you are a neo nazi, it makes all the sense though
  10. I understand not wearing a helmet, what I don't understand is wearing german WW2 replicas even more so when you're not a neo nazi.
  11. I don't look at that and get a desire to ride it, just a desire to look at it on my way to the bike I'm riding or outside a restaurant
  12. That smells of money, warm sunsets, and chilled prosecco with pecorino I like it
  13. What is happening in Oxford Street in that Picture? That's not a normal amount of people
  14. I spent a long weekend in London on February 2014 with Maria, went to see the Phantom of the Opera, had sushi, codfish and ships, the works. We slept in a hotel not far away from the cafe where that dude got his face burned in "Layer Cake". Good stuff, quite enjoyed it.
  15. I'm sure that's heartbreaking, so sorry to hear.
  16. I like that @Grasshopper's Ride, if you don´t like how the oil drains on your bike maybe try heating up more, in the XR which is also a single cylinder bike (although I'm not sure if that has anything t do with it) I find that after it has almost stopped dripping I hold it tilted to both sides and that frees up plenty more oil from all those little nooks inside.
  17. Thank you, one of the best clips ever! The guy playing the guard was told to not laugh, to just remain serious, that’s how his laugh burster looks so honest. Funny thing is picturing those two trying to get them to break character
  18. You can’t board a flight from here without,, and although you book the test online there are a lot of temporary “drive through” testing stations scattered around and it’s pretty easy and quick.
  19. They’ve got very low cases compared to us. But he has obviously been tested negative before flying here, like he did before going there, appart from that there have been no instructions whatsoever.
  20. I'm going to fight to try and keep it going, but the truth is that a forced stop and a few months to figure shit out might be what I need, and should be a welcome break. I am pretty much conformed to go along with whatever needs to happen.
  21. Raining, it's just not stopping. Miserable wet rain, for three weeks now, I don't know how some countries cope with this shit without going depressed. My brother came home after a few months away, picked him up from the airport and fed him a hamburger when we got home. I'm pretty proud of it, tasted great. Went to try on some pants for riding in winter or rain i the morning as all I have at the moment are jeans, found nothing so will carry on carrying my plastic overpants. Will try again next weekend. Am planning a ride around on christmas week and/or the one after and some proper pants would come in very handy if the weather doesn't change, and maybe it changes as well since it'll get colder. I am more and more loosing faith I'll be able to sort out my declining business relationship so there is that cloud hanging over me, but also I'm getting to grips with it and with the prospect of being with no income. I've gotten less worried over the last month, if it happens so be it, I'll have the forced chance to have more fun than usual while I run out of money.
