If business keeps going the way it is, I might just be able to go on a big ride sooner than expected

That’s quite a story, mainly from someone who hadn’t traveled before. This is meant as a compliment. Those 660s look great, I never rode one but they just look like they handle nicely.

I would like to have proper mexican food here, seems tasty, but it’s not something you find easily in Portugal

@MooN’s Triumph has won the October’s Bike Of The Month vote. I look forward to many more ride reports!

Still 37 minutes to go Pete, this is what it must feel like to run an election.

All I know is that if I’m not let out on my Christmas/afterChristmas ride this year, I’ll throw an almighty tantrum

It’s now 18:00, in 6 hours this vote better be sorted with a winner

Pirelli Scorpion Trail 2, i am going back to TKC70 as soon as these are worn enough that it doesn’t make feel foolish in replacing them.

Moon is ahead!

My bike will not be ridden in the weekend, this is a lockdown weekend and I’m away from home so it’ll be locked in until Tuesday

The big GS is a very balanced bike and very good when there is a little grip and you can keep a little momentum going. I really dislike these tires, though, immensely.

I have told another portuguese member that he is required to vote. We’ll ser how it goes.

I’m going to buy some pills tomorrow, this is too much stress! I’ll figure this up tomorrow evening if the vote indeed comes out as a tie....

Today I rode from my home in the countryside to Ericeira in the seaside. It was a bright sunny day, and felt amazing after the last few days’ storm. A short detour exploring an offroad track, I’ll go back with no luggage as it’s a little bit steep. In light of recent BOTM flops I decided to go for a photo shoot. Onwards, always taking the small roads on the map is a good policy for finding cool spots of road. Lisbon’s wine country is looking great will autumn colours. And then, near Ericeira looking at some big waves.

A full month? I think that goes to prove what I think is wrong with all our governments. They try to control people and the disease when it's not and allow it to spread when it's the most profitable, be it summer holidays with tourism or Christmas with shopping and food industry. Instead of maintaining the thing under "average" control and countries closed they manage it to let it spread when it satisfies economic lobbies. Managing life vs sales? Fuck them. Is this too politic?

This is the style, is that an expression? Thing with reliability and dependability is that with every month that goes by your chances of a problem increase, no bike will run forever

I just don't get why any grown person would want a kid's bike. Not even fit for purpose as a city commuter in my opinion, maybe as a "going to the beach with a backpack" kind of thing, but then again a small traillie will be better, as a commuter a scooter will also be better and way more practical. I don't understand the sales numbers these bikes apparently get. -
Indeed, but sometimes you just feel like having some cheese and red wine after an autumn ride in rural France.

He wasn´t taking about the bike

Have you considered he might be the weirdo
