Ally is a sweetheart, you can tell her I said that, but according to yourself he does seem to be repeating your younger self’s mistakes …

On the other hand, @XTreme, you’ll be less than an afternoon riding away from the Eiffel in Germany. Assuming the wife is in good company and you get a couple of days away there are some amazing roads to see there, Germany’s motorcycling Mecca. The coolest bike dealership I ever visited was in the Netherlands too, Ten Kate Honda, next to a small town where I got drunk and forgot the name, it was really nice though.

Couldn't give two shits about that, to be honest, it's not exactly the lost city of Atlanta. Would rather it filled up properly again and that Spain aren't dicks with holding all the water their side, but they are.

I don´t know in what kind of place you'll live, but horse riding in very popular and a lot more democratic there, if you end up somewhere outside a main city they'll probably be a lot happier with the green grass there than where you live.

Forget about the tank, that's a hideous rear fender on a 28000 bike, looks like a bad french streetfighter. Together with the dents on the tank obviously because they put it all together then realized the suspension hit the tank on full lock, makes it clear it was designed and put together by a hipster twat high on dirt track pictures.

They won’t take you with white hair though, you’re still a ginger to all that know you but no ginger to your own kind. Sad story…

At least here, it's because people have gotten fed up with making an effort, and are taking covid as something that just is going to be no matter what.

Plenty of great roads to make it interesting getting there, too.

I'd like to buy a Honda, in Japan, and then tour the country. That would be cool.

I've been fantasizing lately about going on a big trip, nothing specific except being away for a few months, and have also been thinking about which bike I'd like to take on that. Part of me wants to take my current GS, but another part wants to take a normal more nimble GS or an Africa Twin, the normal GS because a sorted one feels like a touring supermoto, and an Africa Twin because of the big front wheel for offroad and japanese engine. What would your dream trip / bike combination be?
