Looks like a proper bike, assuming the engine proves reliable it should be great. I'm curious as to the cost in Europe.

In these post covid times one would think maybe a shared boot and glove drier wouldn’t be ok with health inspections. If you’ve got the space for overnight hanging of most things, a dehumidifier pointed to the wet stuff sorts most things. I would captivate bikers by telling them the weather is always great myself.

That's just a strategic temporary retreat

Is that a real medical thing? They get hard?

Maybe you should drive him to Madrid yourself. Has he even remembered that possibility?

Good thing you bought the 44, the 39 looks tiny on that picture!

Spain proper, this is Tarifa: This is not Spain but hasn't got the Portuguese oak trees or any strong Portuguese traits.

I don't think I have pictures in Spain, Pete. Portugal looks quite different to where that is.

They're great, proper Portuguese pastry along with an espresso. A sprinkle of cinnamon powder is mandatory.

Might be a silly question, but is a Himalayan hard to bump start? Should be the obvious solution when on a dead battery instead of finding a hotel room while it charges, no?

Best looking Triumph Tiger, I've said it before and will say it again: Best looking Triumph Tiger! Cool roads too.

Decided on the Rocky Creek one, but tried to order from the Netherlands and am not going to buy as much as they want for postage. Same as buying from the UK, am also not paying that, it's almost cheaper going there personally to buy one. So gave up and will order one those from Touratech, maybe make a coffee run to Lisbon next time I'm home and buy it in person.

There's been massive price increases in food here as well. I don't honestly keep in touch with it but it feels like a bag of vegetables and fruit now costs proper paper money while before it used to be silly metal money cheap. I have never thought of we being different to northern countries regarding growing food, but I guess you're right. Must be the different climate as I think Italy is the same, some traditional dishes are very vegetable based not to be vegan or out of saving the planet but because that's how they are supposed to be, tasty and cheap with just a hint of meat derived something to give it seasoning, that's way more sustainable than going fully vegan with silly things like almond milk and plant based "chorizo", and also better than eating a t-bone every day. It got away from me, in reply, yes we are very similar and some specific vegetables are treated as small treasures and very valued, a simple cabbage from the north of Portugal that tastes like nothing you can grow in the south, or the artichokes from Murcia in Spain that are canned in olive oil and sold for the same money as tuna. We still very much are a people of farmers that way, I suppose.
