Absolutely love those Desert Sleds Bob, they even look good with some side cases on. Have you had any significant problems with it? Anything that you have to look out for other than the normal things on most bikes?

Took the mountain bike out again for a bimble along the local dirt tracks. Not sure of distance but I was out for about three hours and my legs feel stiff now so a decent stretch I imagine. Its been so dry over the past three years it’s beginning to look like North Africa! Found a nice little place for @XTreme to wander around in. A strong smell of piss, used condoms and some stained mattresses would have given Pete a stiffy

I got my blood test results back today and went through them with my doctor. All good apart from my cholesterol is high so I’m going onto some low dosage tablets for a couple of months to help get it down and at the same time make some changes to the diet and up the exercise. I don’t eat badly and I’m active but a bit of improvement in those areas won’t hurt. Apart from that no dramas!

Spot on those Bob, had a couple of sets for years and they still work as well as they did when they were new. Mind you, I think they’re much better on a dirt bike rather than a naked road bike. I bought some bar end mirrors off Amazon and they work well but I can’t remember what make at the moment.
