  1. If I went all motorway, it would take an hour and a quarter or thereabouts. Clearly I’m not gonna do that as it’s boring so I will cut across country on some of the nice roads which takes up to just over two hours. Probably about 120 km each way. The reason I’m taking it up is because the front suspension feels a little choppy, it’s the only way I can describe it although the bike handles beautifully and it’s not the front wheel bearings as I’ve checked that. I spoke to the guy up there and explained and he said bring it up and they will do a fork oil change seeing as it’s under warranty. Can’t ask fairer than that.
  2. Well it’s gonna be fucking hot tomorrow and I’ve got to take my bike up to Alicante. Wish me luck!
  3. I can’t be bothered watching stuff like this anymore as most of it is fucking idiotic, only a small percentage of it makes me laugh. The number of twats with hardly any common sense, a complete lack of awareness of their own ability and an over inflated opinion of their worth never ceases to amaze me. Cunts.
  4. Head to the Peak District if you get a chance, it’s a stunning place. That’s where we lived before moving to Spain.
  5. A nightmare happened. Got the thing running just right, all the correct lighting etc etc, a full set of e-marked paraphernalia etc and took it for the ITV test. The bike was originally an import from Germany into the UK but the UK logbook had a number missing that should have been recorded when it was imported into the UK. Without it they couldn’t give it an ITV pass and so it needed an ‘engineers report’ to the tune of €1,500. The bike didn’t cost me that in the first place. Sent the fucker back to the UK through a mate and sold it for exactly what I paid for it. Gutted.
  6. Absolutely don’t give up trail riding mate but as stated, tone it down a bit and make sure you have someone with you if you can.
  7. …………ahhhhh but what you don’t realise is that the group of reprobates I play with would fit in very well here……..and there’s beer involved supported by general rowdiness. ️
  8. Three Saturdays on the trot now so it’s Gaylord Golf for me tomorrow but it will be the last gay outing for a couple of weeks. Back to macho shit on two wheels next week……… 🏍🏍🏍🏍🏍. Off to one of the local bars on Sunday to watch the Lionesses win the World Cup………..Sweet Caroline and all that!!!
  9. Yeah bruv innit………
  10. Could be worse @yen_powell, you could have a black gash?
  11. The pleasure of having two dogs that need early ‘walkies’
  12. Two hours out on the mountain bike to collect a lottery ticket fer fucks sake. It was hot as hell and had to get home for 1030 as I couldn’t stand it anymore. Lovely views though. Took some video footage and had a scary descent right at the end, back wheel locked up and skidded most of the 150m to the bottom……..steep and very, very loose but watching the video it looks a piece of piss. Have to see if I can load it up.
  13. May 2025 so not long. If things go well, I might even be divorced by then so I can spend it all on me.
  14. Shouldn’t be a problem given my lack of skill
  15. Mind you I plan on doing some admin shit tomorrow morning and so the old mountain bike may be dragged from its slumber in the garage and battered along the dirt tracks. Might even take some GoPro footage for your amusement as you hear me breathing like an overweight rapist.
  16. I’d love to get another dirt bike mate but seriously, I think it’ll be a while yet. We always knew when we moved out here that there would be a shortfall between my private pension and the UK state pension. To be fair, a second bike is the only sacrifice we have to make so I can’t complain. I think I’ll stick with the old Fazer for a while yet and make the most of my mountain bike for exploring off road……….when it cools down a bit.
  17. Same here Pete………lazy sods
  18. Just staying off the bike at the moment that’s all, aircon working overtime during the day so we have a couple of cool rooms to take refuge in when needed.
  19. Yes mate, not too difficult even for a numpty like me Bob
  20. Here you go, and before you start they ain’t burnt, they’re meant to be like that…….just like Ghandi’s flip flops
  21. I’m grounded too mate but not because it’s too hot ………… so I’m being a thoroughly modern man and making some garlic naan bread to go with a chicken curry. No idea what my wife is going to eat?
