@Gordon, sorry about @Six30, he is part of our DEI program, his proclivities mean we can tick at least four different boxes on the inclusivity requirements. Back to your bike choice, you should follow the advice given and buy used so you can see if you are going to be able to live with a particular sized bike before putting big money down, I don't think you would stay with a 400, you will pretty quickly find yourself wanting a 600 or bigger. You need to live with a bike, a test ride only tells you so much. You should speak to owners as well but remember that opinions are like assholes and @Six30 is the smelliest asshole of all.
