  1. So get the first year discount on the purchase then cancel it! Waiting to see what the major retailers will mark it up as now!
  2. But I can't see how long it lasts for......is it a year?
  3. If you have a GoPro subscription! That would cost me €480........but you get unlimited cloud backup and discounts on accessories!
  4. And this thing looks seriously impressive! I was going to go for a Hero 9, but this new one is a huge step forward apparently! Only thing is it seems to be selling for about €500! What you reckon @Grasshopper's Ride @Cupid Stunt
  5. Chains are something that I'm very obsessive about......they always have to have the exact tension, be spotlessly clean, and well lubed! This is mine at 23K kms/14.5K miles.......but it would be a lot better if I'd owned it from new. It's condition wasn't that bad when I got it......it's just that it was dirty and gummed up with wax! So it wasn't running as freely as it should have been. Lot better now after repeated cleanings and regular use of Castrol Synthetic chain oil! So let's see yours! I know @Tym's and @boboneleg's will be very good........but god knows what @Sir Fallsalot's will be like! Probably half a field embedded in it!
  6. Having a Spandex moment on his bicycle?
  7. It's the best allrounder for my purposes here in Spain, and it'll probably be the same for you. The 650 Strom is a brilliant bike......one of the best bikes ever made! Problem is it's a higher seat, 30kg heavier than the 650GS, and very top heavy. Far better than the 650GS's for distance work, but once you get on the rural roads then it gets hard work. If you end up off road then it's very hard work. The CB500X would be an option, though it's 10kg heavier than the 650GS.......and like the Strom it's a road bike with a 19" front wheel. Similar power to the 650GS (delivered in a different way) but I imagine for distance work you'd have to keep the revs up to maintain any sort of pace. Whereas the 650GS will plod along all day at 70mph/120kph at 5K revs and return 75+ mpg. There's a reason so many people have done RTW trips on them......they don't do anything great, but they can handle virtually anything you throw at them.
  8. I think you'll be a bit squashed on it Alan......they look pretty small to me!
  9. And @Clive didn't get given any more bikes of course!
  10. Not a lot of power for any sort of distance on that Bob! Old XT's and DR's would be too tall! Plus they were withdrawn about 20 years ago so she'd have to buy something really old. I still say the 650GS is the most logical choice!
  11. How's she going to even get on it? 38" seat height!
  12. Fucking nutter! Just found her on FaceButt.......her page is full of stupid antivax shit and braindead conspiracies!
  13. Lot of high profile anti-vaxers are ending up dead now! One of them tried to insist that he didn't have Covid......claimed that the Police had poisoned him!
  14. Jennifer Cunningham I've been with them for car, bike, and house since 2005.
  15. You need residency for a new bike.......second hand just an identification number.
  16. You can only get on a bike of 8cm.......take your pick then!
