In the last 20 years I've had a couple of 6 month periods without riding because of surgery and the recovery time (like now). Before I lost my leg I had a period of about 9 months where I didn't have a bike and drove my then girlfriend mad as I was constantly looking at bikes. I pointed out to her that at least I wasn't looking at other girls I remember being in the car with her one day and two of my mates were outside his house, I stopped to say hello and admire his new Z1000ST, he asked if I wanted to try it ? I told my girlfriend that I'd just be 5 minutes and came back nearly an hour later, she wasn't impressed

I saw a video from Cycle World on this bike, I really like the the look of it. If they can deliver it at a good price it should give Yamaha and KTM a run for their money.

Sorry Lionel but do you speak from experience ? I've owned KTM's for the last 15 years and if you're servicing them yourself the parts are cheaper than any Jap bike.

I'd love to see them live Ian but I think I'd have to go in disguise as i'd probably be about about 30 years older than anyone else in the audience
