I think it was £500 but my dealer was a cool guy. I was slightly worried about the height of the bike so if I didn't want it he'd just refund me the deposit as he had plenty of peeps wanting a T700.

No, I paid a deposit to register my interest and when they allocated a bike to me I paid the remainder.

Here ya go Pete, this was part of the process I had to go through when I ordered my T700. It took about 6 months until delivery.
