  1. Outside of the border of Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire would be a nice start for me.
  2. That's the story of my travels, I have not done more than 300 miles on the scoot since I bought it.
  3. I doubt I do anywhere near 6,000 miles per year, the tester said they were starting to crack and perish around the wheel rim, must be in the inside as the outside looks fine.
  4. My tyres perish before I wear them out, so the MOT tester seems to think, at every every MOT i get advisories for at least 1 perished tyre ..
  5. My daughter is 39 this year, and my son will be 43, but his brain is still 14.
  6. FFS.....its snowing....hope it doesn't amount to much.

    Biking Mojo?

I know the other reasons, but as I say it would sound like me moaning

    Biking Mojo?

When my wife stopped riding pillion I went out on the scoot/bike less and less, I hardly ride nowdays, i could go into greater detail but it would just sound like me moaning. If I sat down and really thought about it I would come to the conclusion that the scoot is really not needed. So in effect I have lost my mojo.
  9. Our neighbours dog at the moment. ......glad I can't hear it, it gets on my wife's nerves.
  10. I don't know over what period her finance is for the Pushite, just hope it's still running and being ridden when the last payment is paid........then it will go on Marketplace no doubt.
  11. ...Granddaughter has ordered a new Peugeot Tweet 125cc....she was supposed to collect it next week, but with her CBT being cancelled (she should have done it last Thursday) till the middle of April things are on hold till then. It's going to live a bit of a rough life, it will be stood on her rear yard under a bike cover. I will offer to give it a coating of ACF, but I don't expect she will spend much time cleaning it, if her pushbike is anything to go by it will just get a wash when it rains.
  12. @Slowlycatchymonkey Is busy.....
  13. Son in law had to walk 5 mile to work daughter can't get off her road as the junction to the main road is on a hill......
  14. ......... yes, I expect they are built to a higher standard, a higher spec car built for enthusiasts, standard cars built for the masses.
  15. I have only driven a Magane & Clio, basic cars I suppose, built to a price. The Magane was OK ish, but the off set pedals of the Clio made my back ache. I use to occasionally chauffeur my boss around in his Mercedes S500......which made the Dacia feel like a skateboard, and about as fast.
  16. Mine does have a key along with a fob, but the key only opens a cubby hole to gain access to the emergency seat opening cable.....if the battery goes totally flat I cannot unlock the electric steering lock..
  17. I vowed never to have another Renault.......but what is the Dacia?.........a Renault.
  18. The Megane went straight to the scrappers when I had finished with it, what could go wrong with it did. Dacia been OK so far, but you don't have high expectations of a car that so cheap in the 1st place.
  19. And will he be singing....The Green Green Grass of Home.
  20. I had a Renault Magane ()a few years ago, that had the credit card thing that was pushed in the dash slot.......it worked quite well, until I sat down with it in my back pocket...........and snapped it almost in half. The rest of the car was a disaster.......if that car was a horse I would have shot it.
  21. No key on my scoot, seat opens via a button, steering lock and petrol cap work off of a rotary nob which cannot be turned without the fob being close to the scoot. I just put the fob on the inside pocket of my jacket and zip it shut.
