No...they are electric storage heaters.......the street she lives on has no mains gas supply to 5 houses...one being hers......all the other have.

We have the heating on for a hour each evening...... It's our daughter we have sympathy for......all they have is storage heaters......burns through electric like its going out of fashion.

Quite nice actually.......the ones with duck in are revolting though.

It's her assistant I can't get on with......fat ginger guy who looks about 20 years old and gives a aura of not wanting to be there......he works and walks in slow motion.......but she seems really interested in what I or my wife has to say......looks straight at me and talks clearly and slowly...Even though she said it in as funny a way as possible.."Don't come back till August".....seems I am now a lost cause.

Wife told me that she has.

Mine is very good....good sense of humour....and very thorough in her job....and she has a proper dirty laugh.

I am on 1st name terms with my audiologist, we are past what's your date of birth and all that nonsense.

They ought to do with how often I am there....

And some bugger had pinched my parking place at the hospital today. Nearly had to fetch a wheelchair for my wife...........inconsiderate bastids.

Just waved off our visitor who came from Minorca....over here till after the New Year....her parents live in Nottingham. Came all that way in a beat up 1999 Ford Mondeo......brave girl.
