  1. Just imagining Buckster forming the welcoming committee for new members, that could be worth voting to see Although the idea of Pedro promising to be trigger happy is most tempting. If I was around long enough to see it @boboneleg I really don't think you should withdraw. You're on here enough to make a difference to Pete, would do a good job and would be a popular choice.
  2. I wondered how you'd got on. Thanks for the update What do you have to do on this test?
  3. A nice laughy lady in a pointy hat.
  4. Thanks for nomination but I'm defo not the right person for a gig on here!
  5. What veg went in your samosas? We've got Curry night on Friday. Really looking forward to it cos I've totally nailed the Murgh Makhani and King prawn korma over the last couple of weeks, the poppadoms have been a bit of a bitch but just the Begum Bahar left to master, can't wait to see their faces, or eat it, or drink too many Long Island ice tea's
  6. They banned saying cunt in the library? Why o why? Disgusted Mrs S C Monkey nr Weston super Mud.
  7. See yet more trouble making from bad boy Tango. You cant help yourself can you
  8. Second? Don't get ahead of yourself, Clive and Tango first and someone had already nominated Boboneleg ...but its cos I know you work and wouldn't wish this shower on you
  9. Hmm Switzerland obfuscates. Tango rabble rousing? As for Tym, handling him with kid gloves doesn't work. He continues with his side swipes that I'm a woman, stupid, does my husband know I'm here looking for man, I'm English (who obviously all suck), I'm from the other forum, I'm a lefty and one of my favourites I'm the wrong colour. WTAF?! If you can get Tym to PM you his insults then dandy otherwise I will continue to respond if I see them. Buck was the one who raised concerns about the antisemitism. He is a long standing member. Pedro and Buck pointed out the difficulties in you bringing Zzzak back into the mix. All of those names are your old school. Putting all this on new members... meh
  10. Expressing your dismay at mad ravings and unpleasantness isn't dictating. It's usually the people with fixed extreme views that can't handle another person opinion if it doesn't align with their own. I could demonstrate that easily by suggesting American gun laws are responsible for an increase in homicides in America. Would we have a reasoned discussion? Would you consider a different point of view? Or would I get attacked as a lefty woman (or whatever nonsense label is at the ready) who should shut up and go away because I'm .... fill in blanks with- a woman, stupid, a lefty, english, from the other forum, whatever the next bit of crazy is? You dont need to answer. Ad hominem Tym ad hominem.
  11. Uurrrgghhhhh. Is there an option after you've put someone on ignore to have a warning flash up if you then click 'show this post'? Something like "Remember last time? Are you absolutely sure you want to?"
  12. I don't think they are for a moment or the posts about the state of the place wouldn't have happened. Going for a wind up Buck or Six style is dandy, but some are deliberately divisive.. yanks what can you do. Did you like that, "deliberately divisive.. yanks what can you do" Everyone knows when it's gone wrong cos people go quiet and posting stops.
  13. They're worth a go. Salt them before they go in the oven (on at least 220 on a pre-greased tray), leave them for as long as it takes for them to make a hollow sound when tapped (in my oven thats about double the length of time they state). Very crispy, good steak chips. Not the same as home made chips, more like a crispy very fluffy roasty. Damn now want chips.
  14. Have you tried those triple cooked gastro pub chips? Apart from needing cooking double the length of time they say they're pretty good. Not that you'd find them in a cafe cos they also cost triple.
  15. Could have been worse, I could have said hash browns.
  16. Black pudding, white pudding, mushrooms, fried bread, sauté potatoes, mug of tea.
  17. Sir Fallsalot. He finds most things from any end of the spectrum amusing. Even tempered, doesn't get his hair off, doesn't have a mean word to say and even after a couple of beers and being provoked he still holds it together.
  18. Clive who has just said no thanks would be my choice.
  19. Id like a 'no mod' option on there please. Not that I wouldn't vote for one of the mod options but it would be good to see what people want.
  20. After my last experience of mods nope Someone neutral and reasonable without strong opinions. Maybe Clive and Tango if they'd be daft enough to accept
  21. Not anyone who really wants it, theyre always a bit too quick to put on a their special cuntstable uniform
