Well the time is fast approaching for me to Don the leathers and wend my way south for my final ride on the ninja, it will be a bittersweet ride as it has been a great bike, never let me down bar the battery going flat but that's my fault for not putting it on the optimate, but I can't find the reason why I shouldn't change it for the busa and in any case the busa is insured now so there's no going back. I hope it gives its next owner as good a time as I've had with it over the last 4 years

Well.....tonight I ride south to my parents for the night and tomorrow I pick up the new beasty......I'm like a kid in a sweet shop at the moment. Insurance is sorted £595 all told so far setup and paid for which I though was pretty cheap. Once I pick it up it is a couple of hour ride over to my mates exhaust shop near Peterborough to see about getting a shorty pipe for it so it will be loud enough to wake the dead and everything in my life will be perfect.... Then Sunday I will probably/definitely be out on the bike for a short while so I can see just how it goes round corners and fires me towards the horizon in my backyard playground.... Reports and pics are imminent I feel....if I can stop for long enough to take any..... So laters fuckers

Thanks mate, but it's just the same as I can't understand why people have a bike of 1800cc or more which only does 90mph and that don't go round corners but each to their own

I used to use the all in one rain suit and honestly don't rate them they are brilliant if you can keep the neck done up if not they are pointless, my problem with it was my 19in neck and it just wouldn't do up in the end I resorted to using gaffa tape to get it to close around my neck.....and yes I looked like a Michelin man.....not a good look. 2 piece is the way to go imho

I think the gen 2 is the nicest looking of all 3 gens and yeah they have a massive tuner following but I'll withhold on the tuning it will be more than fast enough for the road
