My dad wouldn't touch any of that "foreign muck"! He used to look at me in dusgust when I rolled in from the pub with my little white plastic bag from the Chinese takeaway! Do you remember those Vesta curries back in the day. I quite liked them back then, but wouldn't touch one with a bargepole now! Some of our French friends ask what we eat for dinner and is it all English food? They raise an eyebrow when we tell them that we eat Indian and Thai curries, Chinese style stir fries, Mexican style food, Italian style food, Greek style food and various other types of "international " cuisine. We do have stews and meat pies, which I guess constitutes English food, but we try to vary it a bit. Vegetable chilli Friday night, carbonara last night, beef stroganoff tonight and probably a curry during the week!

Out with Mandy and the group again this morning. It was a bit parky when we set off and didn't really warm up much during the ride. Not many pictures as I didn’t have much opportunity to take that many. I was on my non-ebike today, so had to work a little harder at it!

Yesterday's little jaunt. A few of us pushed on a bit on the way back, but then had to stop and wait for the rest. The weather was not too bad for it either.

Friends of ours in the village have just got a Tesla model Y, which Carole says ia great because you can do more overtakes in it! French driver!

They make the ID3 and ID4 and the Buzz minivan. All the VAG have EVs in their lineup now. But this made me laugh anyway......

Went for a little bimble around and ended up in Beziers. It was all kicking off on the one-way system. There had been a minor shunt on the other side of the island to where I was, but the Gendarmes had a guy in an armlock in the road on my side. There were Gendarmes in cars and on bikes coming in from all directions! When I went past the guy was in the back of one of the cars and there was a lot of arm waving and pointing from the swarm of Gendarmes there! Anyway, it was cloudy and cool for the ride, but at least it wasn't raining. Wore my Hood jeans, but realised when I got home that I have actually got some lined winter bike trousers! Oh well, I'll try to remember them for next time!

Funnily enough it was the Brizzle bit that prompted me to post it on here!
