Happy birthday to Bo Diddley.

I voted for @Sir Fallsalot, because you get 2 bikes for the price of one! And I like the scenery and the composition.

It's the mix of bike and bike related stuff along with the banter that entertains. Like @MooNsays, it's just a bit sad when occasionally it gets a bit too personal, but fortunately that doesn't seem to happen too much. Otherwise it's pretty well balanced and humorous. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into it, Pete. And thanks to all the others on here for the entertainment.

I got a compact camera and a new check shirt.

We survived Christmas day and boxing day! Hoorah! We actually didn't drink much alcohol and Christmas Dinner was a manageable size, but we waited until the evening for some Christmas pud. Planning another mini Christmas Dinner this evening to use up some more of the turkey and the leftover veg. Had a few Zoom calls over the last couple of days to catch up with family that we weren't able to see. Mandy is off today and tomorrow, so we may head over to Triumph in Montpellier tomorrow to drool over some bikes!

Do people still have to book appointments to visit the tip there? Our local tip doesn't seem to have any restrictions. Private cars and workmen's vans all seem to rock up there with no problems. We've been a few times with the trailer loaded with cardboard and other stuff and they don't bat an eyelid. Consequently fly tipping is extremely rare around here.

Raining here today and tomorrow, but boxing day may not be too bad. We'll be just chilling out over the next couple of days. Christmas Dinner to cook tomorrow, but not going overboard with it. Mandy bought some Black Sheep, so we'll probably sit and have a couple of those tomorrow evening. Got some snack type things for this evening. Currently waiting for the plumber to turn up to install the new water heater.

It's also the longterm health implications for those that recover from it that is unknown at the moment. I've read articles that suggest some suffer reduced brain function and others with heart and lung issues, so it's not just the short-term problems that are concerning. But, as you say, Bob, it's also about hospitals getting overwhelmed.
