I bought a new touring screen for my CBF but didn’t like the look of it as it came. I had the choice of clear or smoked but the standard screen wasn’t either. So the new screen didn’t look right to my eye. Anyway after a couple of weeks I got fed up with it and put the standard screen back on. Now it’s getting colder I thought I ought to go back to the bigger screen. But I had to improve the looks. I took the pattern from the standard screen and masked the new one up to resemble it Then took some statin black paint and sprayed it to match I’m pretty pleased that the results look okay. Not perfect but definitely good enough. I will tidy up a couple of spots with thinners when the body of paint has cured a bit more.

The 8 year olds drilling these are going to get beaten with a stick.

Got out early on the XR with Gary today out about 7 hours, but we did manage a respectable 164 miles and a lot less talking. Started to drizzle mid day and didn't let up until we were on the last leg home poor Gary didn't take any waterproofs so was soaked though i was pretty cold and wet with them on by the time i got home The red arrows This was slightly washed out Our route

Just had a Suzuki burgman dropped off for me to check over as the owner's just got it. It's fuckin huge.

I have had a good weekend, messing with bikes for most of it as I have had a week on leave. Did go out singing Saturday and had a couple of beers, been feeling a bit fragile today I hardly drink nowadays so don't cope with it well when I do. Good night though out with my singing group. Sort of a birthday celebration a couple of days early.

He has a valid point but it sounds like he's assuming the thread length of the screw in jets is enough to bottom out partially blocking the oil gallery. Def some misalignment going on.

my daughter has great pigeon instinct and sense of direction, she only needs to be taken somewhere a couple of times and can then direct you there and back home

Today I am going to my first live football game for about 4 years . My niece's boyfriend plays for Merthyr Town and they are at Bath City for a FA cup game so I'm going to watch.

Sounds like a good time to be out of town before Fred and his mates arrive and start raping farm animals and the occasional house pet.
