  1. Past hour
  2. I was on a charity DGR motorcycle ride today with 1500 others. I was stuck at a light for 5 mins because the traffic was snarled up and I looked over at the guy beside me and he had two 8 inch slim cylinders on his bars with a paper map wrapped around each - he manually scrolled the map up /down winding it from one cylinder to the other. I asked him about it - "analog GPS" he said, unjamable by the Russians. Wish I got a photo of it. Was a fun day, and finished at a brewery with live music and food. Got wet on the way home
  3. Today
  4. First job when I left school was a work experience course at the local bus depot. They loved silver slip and I can't think of anywhere I've used it since.

  15. That's quite the overhaul Bob...nice work.
  16. Yes have to agree it's not a comfortable bike for 3000 miles..lol...mostly just hold more of a sentimental value for me now...sold the bike 4500 bucks when I acquired the 22 1290..comfort wize it was a little better but it was a rolling laptop on wheels , not to mention it let me stranded on the side of the road a few time...and the old 950 found it's way back home after the fuel pump failed on it ...luckily that owner didn't have time to trash it before it broke down and it sat for and entire year ...having no one who wanted to work on the thing I was able to buy it back after running into the fellow at the shop...for 2500 buck...I think it was a steal...lol...he was just glad to get rid of it...
  17. That's what I keep hearing from guys that rode them in the pass...I haven't ridden one yet kinda curious to test it out..dam thing is rated at 145hp and it's tiny....
  18. Silver slip, don't see much of that around now.
  19. Looks clean, just tell him to avoid corners.
  20. Yep, great offroad bike. not soo great for traveling 3000 miles to go offroading, tho. I still have it and enjoy it on the local dirt, cause fortunately it was worth $4,500 when i last got it rebuilt for $4,000 .

  24. "It exploded in my minge!" Counterfeit Sex Toy Purchased on Facebook Causes Serious Burns A 32-year-old woman from Merthyr Tydfil has suffered serious injuries after allegedly using a counterfeit electronic massager purchased through Facebook, leaving her with severe third-degree burns to her groin. The woman, who asked not to be identified, described the ordeal as both shocking and extremely painful. > “It was a bit warm. I thought that was normal, then it exploded so hard I didn’t know if I was coming or going,” Emergency services were called to the scene and the woman was taken to Prince Charles Hospital, where she received urgent medical treatment. Hospital staff confirmed she suffered extensive burns requiring intensive care and ongoing monitoring to prevent infection and further complications. Authorities are now warning the public about the dangers of buying electrical and personal care devices from unverified sellers online. Counterfeit electronics can contain faulty wiring, unsafe batteries, and poorly manufactured components that may overheat or explode during use. The woman remains in hospital in a stable but serious condition as investigations continue into the origin of the device. Officials hope the incident will raise awareness about the potentially devastating risks posed by counterfeit electronics sold online.
