I don't need to say anything, a stock sports bike and a stock cruiser are nowhere near each other its like comparing chalk to cheese
-
Exactly like I would have done... I like things to be all original ...in no way shape or form would I add different color calipers...to any of my bikes...
-
The great painters had body part missing, Picasso a earhole, you a leg........ onto the Cubist phase next?
-
Brownie points coming your way
-
I don't think so, I just like things to look and be right. I think what was annoying me was the rear calliper was still the original gold and the front ones were black. If they were all the same colour I probably wouldn't have bothered.

It’s like a disease

Maybe All rebuilt and ready to go on. Probably won’t swap them over until next week now, don’t fancy stripping the bike before my weekend’s commute. Don’t want to be trouble shooting without sleep. Just in case.
-
Sorry to hear about your buddy Marcel. I rode my bike to work earlier this week as the shitty constant roadworks around here mean getting in by car takes a half hr longer than by bike. Filtering down between the lines of standing and slow moving traffic the number of people with their heads down staring at a phone was unbelievable.

Funny Rich had nothing to say...lol.

So there we have it, Harleys and Hayabusas are pretty much identical on the drag strip. Indians are shite though.
-
My condolences @Marcel
-
Its ok guys , like they say shit happens , at least he died doing what he liked best...instead of going out on a morphine ivy drip....
-
condolences @Marcel.... terrible news
-
Sorry to hear that Marcel
-
I only met the guy at few times , at Alexis place , seemed to be a gentle soul....Alexis is the one who put my buddy's John shovel head bike together...the green machine... Probably another case of a car driver distracted with a cell phone....
-
Sorry to hear that.
-
That’s sad news Marcel
-
Always terrible news.
-
In somber new , Alexis 68 year old brother got involved into a motorcycle crash yesterday afternoon, later died in the hospital, don't know the fine details but it was a head on crash with a car...looks like the car might have crossed over into his lane...Alex is and old time Harley mechanic and is well known in the area... Alexis pic...he's on the left.
-
Must have felt like riding a bike with a square front wheel without brakes or suspension
-
No ...one in Moncton..2.5 hours away , another in Halifax 6 hours away for the maritime, the exact numbers and places has Harley dealerships only two remain open now...all the others Harley places have closed down...
