If I get a screwdriver and pull the switch out then press it, the seat solenoid works, but the button stays in, so i have to fish it out with the screwdriver again, would have to remove the whole of the front to get to the switch......I have lathered the switch with WD, but I doubt it is getting to the workings of the switch.....

So Is the catch actuator working, can you ask your wife if she can hear a noise when you press the button?

Yes @boboneleg there is a emergency release cable in the storage compartment, but it bugs me no end that the seat release switch does not work. And I think the Dacia is getting to the end of its useful lifespan, fuel gauge not working, needs a new rear axle (advisory on last MOT), clutch, exhaust (advisory on last MOT) and needs some welding on the sill (our local garages do not seem to take on welding any longer) which was another advisory on the MOT..........soon may look for a car with 1 years MOT on Marketplace...
-
Is there a workaround to release it manually @Clive ?
-
I hate vehicle electrics. and now I have 2 problems to contend with. 1.....cars fuel gauge is on the blink, it just registers half full, even with the wires disconnected from the sender....I hate not know what's in the tank. 2... scoots electric seat release button stays in when pushed, and it's a big job to get to it.... but the sun is shing and quite warm with the sun on the shed roof, I even took off my coat.

Going stir crazy today as I haven’t been out on 2 wheels for 10 days or more. Had to run a couple of errands so took Shadows bike for a run, she’s hasn’t been on it for maybe 2 months. She has had health issues and it’s hit her confidence a bit. Anyway not dwelling on that, it was good to go out on a bike even if it was a 125. Throughly pleasant little thing as long as you’re not in a hurry. It handles well with plenty of grip even in the wet, Not sure I could cope with life at mostly 50 mph. Just feel to vulnerable with next to nothing in reserve. Better than not riding though.

Well done Pedro, looks like he's made himself feel at home.

Difficult to get any good stuff at the mo and the chinky tubes will be thinking of falling apart before they've left the seller. Pick up some silicone tubing.

This is Puskas, after 2 years of living in a shelter in Northern Portugal, sleeping with shelter from the rain but not from the cold he has now found out about central heating and soft beds and pillows and toys. He’s enjoying the warmth while outside the cold storms are hitting strong.
-
just buy a roll of chinky tube...i did, change it each year or so. As you have a roll.

They are just vacuum hoses.

I see Bajaj have approached Carolwood about buying a stake in Indian Motorcycle Company, that didn’t take long.

Is he always the one behind or do you take turns?
