  1. Past hour
  2. When you say "it's pretty quick" ........do yo mean the GTS or the Lambretta?
  3. I have been taking walks with Sofia’s dog for a few days and trying to be calm and zen, so won’t watch it.
  4. It’s not light, but the weight is really down low as the engine is tilting forward, it’s nice enough on fuel if you don’t cruise faster than the speed limit on motorways and very good on fuel on country roads, plus for carrying clothes for a weekend you don’t need any more space than the front trunk. The engine doesn’t have a lot to give but it’s nice for covering distance smoothly and is nice for a thrash, although it’s not going to win any races. It’s so practical with the front trunk space, that you’ll use it for a quick trip to the shops, also tall enough to carry wine bottles. If being low and practical is important, I rate them highly. Having said all that, Sofia was quite happy to have her Speed Triple back after riding one of these to Italy and back
  5. Today
  6. Yes, I have. No, it’s not. It’s the capital of british abroad, english breakfasts until 2pm, english curry, sportsbars, etc. That might be your thing but it’s not mine. The beaches in that area are a little too small for my liking too, too cramped. If you rent a nice villa away from the chaos with a swimming pool or by the sea I think it would nice, though. It must be good value starting from now and onto October, though, so if it’s cheap …
  7. Its still morally wrong and homosexual to drive around in what is technically a washing machine. Don't forget to wear you're pinny and sort you're makeup out before you set off
  8. My wife's Jazz is doing 65.4 mpg at the moment , mind you when I drive it I have to dress up like widow twanky incase anybody see me
  9. I'd like to put one alongside my GTS, it's pretty quick for a scooter
  10. I reckon 'Monica" arranges his test rides, if that twat came into my dealership asking for a freebie I'd be tempted to kick him in the nuts (if he's got any)
  11. I am biased and I know Mandi has a honda, but what about a CB500F or even a CB750 Hornet. Both around 185 kg can be lowered and very good on fuel for commuting especially the CB500. Got 3 piece luggage for my Hornet from SW Motech, perfectly usable. Plenty of touring screens available for both bikes. Or what about a CBR650, not much lighter but a fair bit smaller than a CBF1000.
  12. I have a US V8 engined fun car too in which I can pretty much see the gas tank needle move when I put my foot down. For getting from A to B everyday and doing so for £30 max a month instead of £400+ electric is great, I’m a convert. …and I’m sleeping while it is charging …
  13. electric car drivers passing the time while waiting for their cars to charge
  14. I get that and agree yes they are quicker than ice but they don't have any kind of soul, im definitely not ready to go down the jetsons route and never will be, id rather have a horse and cart
  15. That’s what I initially thought. But it’s 400+ hp 4wd , it’s brilliant fun … gets through tyres quick tho, but it’s cheap as chips to fuel
  16. you are driving a household appliance though its not a car
  17. Get her a busa, they aren't that heavy because all the weight is down low and being long distributes the weight well
  18. I pay £30 a month for my ( car) motoring, flat rate, however much I do. I do 20k + miles a year. Octopus do £30/ month charging for however much you do. I used to pour £100+ a week diesel into my last car, this is great.
  19. @Pedro have you been to Albufeira ? is it nice for a chill out holiday
  20. Mandi's struggling with the weight and size of the Honda. It's lowered as much as the bike allows, (although I now see there's a fitting that allows the spring to sit further up the shock), but with her failing joints she has a hard time getting on, off and paddling it around. It is bloody heavy. She's already looking at a commuter bike but wants to keep the CBF, I'd rather she got one bike for all as we're tight on space and might have to part with one of mine. So what's out there which is already low, light and can take luggage.
  21. I watched that, seems a pretty decent scooter. He is one of the most annoying twats although his videos are well made.
  22. it is to people from the UK, I paid the equivalent of $8.14 for a British gallon of E10 unleaded today. Bearing in mind UK Gallons are a little bigger than US ones.
  23. Nah, I've seen the pictures
  24. Got a bit more done on the 4ft. privacy wall I'm building around our back porch today....sweat my arse off in the 95F weather. Tomorrow will be spent mowing the lawn & then loading the truck w/ all the camping things before we take off Sunday after church for the west side of Sumpter OR...plan on being back sometime Wednesday afternoon. Weather appears to be cooperating for this trip.
  25. Yesterday
  26. I just stick £20 or £30 worth of petrol in the Dacia, it has a small ish tank so that takes it up to 3 quarters (or thereabouts) full, + i get good mpg with it being a small 1200cc engine. I expect the government will raise the price of petrol at the next budget.......Bastids.
  27. $3.79 for regular here.... I pay $4.29+ for primo here in Elgin. Our dyke bitch of a governor is trying to add another 6 cents tax to that...
