So set off a bit later than planned to let the rain clear but made it to the first stop with no dramas. Fucking chilly near Granada with snow on the mountains but coffee and a slab of non descript sponge cake sorted that. Found the hotel at the top of a mega steep slope, the bloke sent me a message and said whatever you do do t stop halfway up. Stretched my leg as around the town and now sinking a beer or two. Looking forward to catching up with the idiots tomorrow. It’s going to be carnage.

I saw a mammoth this morning.

24f here this morning...getting chilly finally. Some of the higher peaks nearby have snow already....

Sat here waiting for Sky engineer to turn up, to install full fibre broadband, I know he will say No! as soon as he sees the alarm in the bungalow, they have been twice before to install it and refused, last time they gave us Sky Sports for 3 months free, time before that Sky movies for 2 months, not bothered about having Sky Sports because this time of the year there is bugger all on it.

In another lifetime I had a Talbot Horizon, that rattled like a bag of spanners too, on way back from holiday the front engine mounting parted company with the cross member, each time I pulled away the front of the car would rise about 6+ inches......

Cheers Mate getting there slowly Skip. Waiting for a few bits to come is frustrating but it's not like it's excellent riding weather. Should get my shit together and get the seat off to be done while it's in bits.

There are two cars and 6 bikes in our household, I pay for my car and my 3 bikes. Insurance is about £600 tax is around £650. I don't drink or smoke so I don't mind the cost really, no loan payments or anything so I don't think it is an expensive hobby. Won't mention bike parts and stuff though

7.... that must cost a bomb, just 2 vehicles is expensive enough

I drove one back in the day, great concept but very badly put together. Awful thing to drive.

Nice work @Saul. How many vehicles do you have now ? I tax and insure seven vehicles and I've come to the conclusion that it's just too much. Just wondered how others manage ?

This must be the only non rattling one in the UK. I remember them as a kid and they all rattled like they wouldn't make the end of the week.
