  1. Past hour
  2. I usually ride in a extended staggered formation w/ my mates....even now w/ Ebikes, it gives you enough room for any sudden menouvers you might encounter. I think with some people, it's more of a status symbol to say that you have & ride a motorcycle. For me, it's not only how MANY miles you ride, but in what kind of conditions you cover those miles in....
  3. Today
  4. That would have Pete scrambling for his Prozac for sure....
  5. Think the system is rigged....c,mon now ...and dual purpose bike citing at a petrol station...?
  6. I know this is no laughing matter....shit happens , accidents happens....and I don't certainly think of myself has a pro...but more of a safe rider...keeping proper distance, center lane riding....formation riding isn't for me or side by side if you prefer...I like to have room to manouver if something pops up on the road unexpectedly....coming to my # 1 on the list... Marc...bought his first bike at the tender age of 60 ( a HD heritage deluxe ), after taking the mandatory riding course and written exam...here it give you the beginners permit...no passenger..no riding after dark with no limits on time to complete the full permit...it's been 3 years now and he hasn't gone in yet to do the final riding exam....
  7. Just as well he didn’t ask about people who couldn’t be trusted driving a truck.
  8. All my mates are probably on the same level , I don't have any concerns about riding with them.
  9. Can absolutely relate to that...I've ran the battery dry on my leaf blower 3 times in the past 2 days....& now it's supposed to rain tonight. Even though last winter was pretty dry, the trees have dumped more leaves this year than I've ever seen in the past 7yrs. Glad the damage wasn't any worse to your bike @Nute...
  10. Yesterday
  11. Dropped my damn bike earlier. Turning into my driveway, 4-5pmh, loads of wet rotten leaves and out the front went Bent brake peddle, slightly bent brake lever, scuffed heat shroud thing, small scuff on the exhaust. The exhaust can stay scuffed, the other bits are £250. Fucking annoyed, my own stupid fault ... first job tomorrow is get rid of the leaves and crap.
  12. Yes....ill get it next week sometime...mentioned the day and half in labour qwoted the other day....took 4 hours I guess...not sure if all of the parts listed were replaced....the idiot could have texted around 3 pm...telling me...looks like it's not going to take that long...and the bike will be ready at 4...I would have turned around...I only left the area around 3 pm..
  13. You mean other than @busabeast?
  14. The list is long....Im sure if any of them find there names on this list someday...some will never speak to me again...lol. Do any of you....have any ...just curious... Like the type who might rear- end you or pass you on the right side....left for you wrong side drivers...can't hold their line in a corner and cross over the center line...run in ditches or in the weeds...
  15. Did @Marcel teach him how to be a “master mechanic”?
  16. Last week
  17. If you zoom in...you can actually see a few specs of dirt...lol.
  18. Now that's some style!
  19. Shadows bike had a post crash misfire. Probably nothing to do with the crash but after checking it out it seemed fuel related. I swapped out the fuel relay just in case before taking the thing apart and luckily for me and Shadow that cured the misfire. I took it for a 10 mile loop and it’s back to normal. Shadow in her new jacket. . She is still very sore but determined to get out and ride. Going a bit stir crazy I think.
  20. I must confess, I didn't watch it all either.
