The Road to Oria!

Recommended Posts

Today I went over the top of the mountain towards Oria......and this road is a tricky one in places!

It gets very narrow, has a variable road surface ranging from billiard table smooth to bomb crater, and at some points you have a sheer drop on either side.

What's frustrating is that I'm still not allowed to leave the province so I can't actually get to Oria itself.........because in doing so I'd be crossing the border into Ameria!

So it's literally over the mountain and back the same way! Not ideal, but it's better than being under house arrest!

Nice one Pete, as frustrating as it must be at least you're allowed to get out.  Weather looks good as well :dancebanana:

18c but quite windy Bob.......so I was getting blown about a bit!

Some really nice photos Pete.  The landscape is beautiful.

That looked like a really fun ride, great roads. ?

Hard roads Michelle......lot of concentration needed.

You make an error there and you're over the edge! And there's no mobile coverage because it's so remote.

We have a lot of roads like that around where I live too.

The difference is, I am always riding with someone, you out there on your own takes it to a different level.

Good to know you are such a safe rider....?...right......:littleguy:

Riding alone without a phone coverage? BADASS! :littleguy:

The thing is, prior to 25 years ago that was the norm......and we're all still here.
