I think the donor was beyond economical repair, or so they said. Not that this build has anything to do with economics, looks like a throw money at it type of thing.

Pretty sure when this came out the motoring world all said that it would be the perfect car if it had four wheel drive and 350hp, so it clearly makes sense.

Back in the day my mate Kevins mum had one. He used to smoke the tyres off it regularly until the gearbox gave up. And that bloody engine, sounded like a bag of spanners when they were right.
I've no doubt they'll have some fun with it when finished but I could think of a few things that engine would go in. Prob not that's already been done though.

This must be the only non rattling one in the UK.  I remember them as a kid and they all rattled like they wouldn't make the end of the week.
