You maths is way off Rich,  Marcy’s Indian is around 380 kilos and he must be 100kg at least.      That’s around 205 BHP per tonne, not in the same field as a Busa. 😳

It does depend to some extent on the point at which the bike is able to produce max power, because it will be a specific rev range, and the riders ability to keep it in that max power band whilst working up through the gears…tho if it’s 0-60 yours prob easily does that in first gear 🤣

I can only imagine what kind of bullshit story Rich going to come up with...that his busa is faster off the line than a sled...lol.

You still going on about this?

Boy have you got lots to learn still...have you ever heard and Indian challenger running  ?  It sounds somewhat similar to a harley...ok...

Now do you remember that short burn video...did that sound like a harley ?

And that was just ...not even a .5 second shot...

Do you have any idea what top speed and Indian Challenger reached ?..I mean just cruising with only a simple ecu flash with no other engine mods ? Without breaking a sweat...

125mph flat out?

Exactly where are you going with this?

Are you now trying to say it is quicker than the busa for just top speed?

Like I was saying 20 pages back....lol.....I'll be at a drag event here for barges...some bikes are actually ridden there...not on a trailer...and weather permitting ...I'll load a few videos...and show you actual time for the quarter mile...

Right well don't forget to get an official timing slip when you do it

Dam right....with only some minor engine mods...punch out to 112 , cams and exaust, air intake..ecu tuning...180 mph...

Erm Wow GIF by The Great Pottery Throw Down

I have no words left to explain to you just how idiotic you are sounding right now, I am going to leave this thread here so when you come up with some tangible results I.e you've been to the drag strip and have you're timing slip then and only then will I have anything more to say on this

Thank God it was only a Harley...

So with alot of modifications it can do 187mph, a standard busa with limiter will comfortably do 186mph take the limiter off and standard a gen 2 will do 196mph with a few modifications 200+

When I had the dyno session it span the dyno at top speed of 218mph the guy doing the dyno commented that with the torque curve of my bike being so linear without any dips and bumps he said it must have had some money spent on it and that 218 on the dyno is a realistic on road speed of 207/8 mph flat out with wind resistance

A lot of modifications ...and air cleaner..and oil catch can , head breather and a oil pressure gauge...wow he must have broke the bank...lol.

My bike that i kno of has a sports air filter and a full yoshimura system, power commander 5 and a logitec quick shifter.

Over and above that im not sure but the guy at dyno said there must be some cam work been done at least

It was a heavily tuned GSXR1000 with at least 250hp.

Come on the 125 dropped a gear at the beginning of the vid. If it was a Gixxer 1000 it would have been off like a stabbed rat.   😉.

You lot are just intimidated by the raw Harley power.

I was at a drag strip today and ran a 8.6 without even trying, I would post proof but unfortunately I don’t know how so you are just going to have to accept what I say.
